Rainy Mornings [SODO X RAIN]

Papa decided that it was a good idea to get out of the ministry and go out somewhere before the next tour.

"Let's go to a fair, hm?" The cardinal suggests, interrupting the silent hum of ghoul conversations causing their ears to shoot up and look toward the man.
Every ghoul was down there, apart from Rain, of course.

"Sounds like a great Idea cardinal." Swiss smiles, getting up and grabbing his bag from his and Sodo's bedroom, as did the other Ghouls, They all separated off to their rooms grabbing things they may need.

Sodo was left in the lounge, keeping his focus on the TV that was in front of him on the other side of the room, some shitty comedy show was playing and Sodo, as much as he wasn't enjoying it still felt incredibly immersed with the show.

"Dew." Copia starts, startling Sodo at the sudden voice pulling him from the TV.

"What's up, Papa?" Sodo replies his head now facing the cardinal by the door, his two-tone eyes one vermillion, one Blue, pierced through Copia.

"Could you get Rain And let him know the plan for today and tell him to get ready, hm?" Copia Asks sounding quite firm, Sodo Turns to the stairs and heads up the stairs to Rain's room.

He knocked 4 times in a certain rhythmic way so Rain knew it was him.
Before The water Ghoul could even answer, Dew let himself in and sat himself on the bed.

"Hey, Rainy.." Dew starts, sadness now enveloping the fire ghoul from the realisation that he and Rain haven't spoken in so long.

Rain didn't reply, and just swiped through his phone.
"Hey so, we're going to the fair if you wanna come with us."
Rain nods not even looking the other ghoul in the eye.

"Rainy is everything okay?" Dew asks, furrowing his eyebrows.

"I'm fine. I'll get ready." Rain tried a smile, getting up and grabbing clothing from his closet. Sodo nodded and left, leaving the water ghoul in peace to get ready.

The Ghouls and Copia then got into their separate Vehicles, Swiss, Sodo, Phantom And Aurora in one car. Mountain, Cirrus, Cumulus, Rain and Copia in another, Rain had the choice to go in the other car so it's not as cramped, but he just brushed off the offer and smiled getting into the car.

They got to the fair, and the ghouls all split off to different rides and attractions leaving Copia to get some food and sit with the bags, he didn't like Rollercoasters or fairground rides.

Rain waited in line for the Ferris wheel that stood before him, people were let off in front of him, the upbeat happy music blared through his ears as he waited to be let on.

"RAIN!!" The water Ghoul heard his name being called over the upbeat music, catching his attention, and causing him to make a humming noise in curiosity.

Sodo Arrived at Rain's Side, out of breath clearly from running after the Ghoul.
"Can I.. uh.. go on this ride with you?" The fire Ghoul panted leaning against Rain causing his cheeks to heat up.

"Sure." Rain replied bluntly, whereas inside his mind he was internally screaming as butterflies danced around his stomach.

Soon the ghouls sat on the ride, in silence as it went around finally stopping at the top.

"Hey, Rain." Sodo interrupts the silence making Rain flinch slightly.
"Is everything okay?" The fire Ghoul asks placing a hand against the other Ghoul's leg.

Rain's cheeks then went red from the sudden new contact.
"Yeah I'm fine, what made you think I wasn't?" Rain asks furrowing his eyebrows, turns out he really is a great actor and had only just realised this.

"You've just been more distant recently and I feel like I haven't spoken to you in ages, you feel... you feel like a stranger." Sodo whispered caressing Rain's leg. The water Ghoul shook off Sodo's Touch, not wanting to melt into the touch.

"I'm sorry I've made you feel that way, I guess... I guess I just haven't been feeling too great?" Rain chuckles brushing off Sodo's concern.
