Rainy Mornings [SODO X RAIN]

Realisation

SODO POV

I was Lying on the couch with Swiss, tangled up with the Ghoul. Swiss was busy on his phone whilst I was Lost in my thoughts.
I haven't Seen Rain in quite a while, and I can't believe I feel so distant from him now, He's my best friend and ever since Swiss and I started dating we just slowly grew apart. I miss him.

I started to think back to the conversation I had with Rain a few days ago.
"Hey, Raindrop... You okay?" I asked Softly walking into Rain's bedroom.
"I'm... I'm fine." He replied shakily.
"You've been so distant from the entire band for months Rain. Tell me what's wrong." I asked now seeming stern.

"I just... I don't know I've not been feeling too great. I don't know." He struggled
"You can talk to me Rainy." I comforted him.
"It's too complicated."
"That's fine. You don't need to explain it. Is there anything I can do?" I reassured.
"Could I have a hug?" Rain asked shyly,
"You know what never mind forget I said that." Rain Panicked.
"Shut up and Come here." I pulled him into a comforting embrace.

"SODO??" I heard someone shout, dragging me out of my thoughts, it was Swiss.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked.
"I've been trying to get your attention for the past minute man," Swiss complained.
"I'm sorry!" I put my hands up, feeling stupid as I looked into the ghoul's eyes placing my face against his chest.
"You feeling okay Bug?" The multi ghoul asked me.
"Yeah, fine." I sighed.
"I'll be right back," I said as I kissed him and left for the bathroom.

I stood at the edge of the bathroom sink feeling nausea envelop my brain.
"Fuck." I whispered under my breath, realising something that made my heart ache.

I looked into the mirror, Tears welling up in my eyes as my chest began to pull.

I couldn't pinpoint the emotion properly, was it dysphoria? I Questioned pulling slightly at my hair from the panic.

What was it?

Then I thought of it.

Rain.

His Hair. How It curled around his face, his horns stuck out and his hair would occasionally dance over them. His eyes. Oh satan, his eyes. How they were as pretty as the ocean.

I thought about him as a tear rolled down my face.

I love Rain.
