Yubels Conquest

Prologue

(Important Information: This story takes place in a AU where Jaden never sent Yubel away and in fact having her influenced his deck in new ways so his duels when they do show up will be different.)(Also this is my first attempt at a Yugioh story so do not expect too much from it.)

It was another beautiful day in Domino City and a young boy was rushing to get to an important duel. As he was running he passed by someone who seemed interested as he watched him run towards the Examination building.

Time Skip

Jaden arrived in the building and immediately spotted a duel started between the duel proctor and someone using a Vorse Raider. "Next I play my Ring of Destruction trap card, now I sacrifice my Vorse Raider and we both take 1700 points of damage, enough to win me the duel." Said the man down there as he passed his exam. Once he'd passed he went back to the stands where Jaden was. "Nice duel." He said smiling. "Thank you, my names Bastion." He said smiling back. "My names Jaden." He said smiling but before they could get into a conversation Jaden was called down to his duel court.

Jaden went down only to find his opponent was Dr. Crowler. "You ready to get your game on slacker?" Asked Crowler. "I ain't no Slacker but you'll see that first hand." Said Jaden as his eyes slightly shifted but nobody seemed to notice. "Now let's see, I'll start off by playing Elemental Hero Avion in attack mode, then I'll throw this face down." Said Jaden as he took the first turn. "Huh, pretty lame start with a lame monster, now first I'll throw two cards face down then I'll play Heavy Storm." Said Crowler as he played a spell card. "Did you forget you have face downs as well." Said Jaden. "Oh I know, in fact, I wanted them destroyed." Said Crowler as two Wicked Tokens took to the field. "Now I sacrifice my two wicked tokens to summon my most powerful monster, come forth Ancient Gear Golem." Said Crowler. Jaden knew what was coming as a giant golem made of scrap iron appeared.

"Wow, I've always wanted to face one of those mostly because they're easy to trounce." Said Jaden. Crowler sneered angrily. "Well I doubt you'll think so when my Ancient Gear Golem attacks and takes away half your life points, go Mechanized Melay." Said Crowler. "I don't think so, I play Enemy Controller and switch your golem into defense mode." Said Jaden. "Heh, not bad, you've bought yourself a turn." Said Crowler as he played a facedown. "My turn, I draw." Said Jaden as he looked at it he smirked. "First I play Graceful Charity, I draw three cards and discard two, then I play Monster Reborn and summon my Burstinitrix from the graveyard in attack mode but then I sacrifice both Avion and Burstinitrix to throw this face down in defense mode, and lastly I'll play a facedown and end my turn." Said Jaden. Crowler was confused. "Okay now does anyone know where Jaden messed up?" Asked Crowler to nobody in particular as he drew his card. "I switch my Ancient Gear Golem back to attack mode, now I summon Ancient Gear Soldier in attack mode, now when I attack you can't play spells or traps, go Mechanized Malay." Said Crowler. "You've attacked my Yubel." Said Jaden as a 0/0 level 10 fiend monster appeared. Everyone's jaw dropped as Crowlers golem made contact. "What, check your gear that card should've been destroyed and you should've lost life points!" Said Crowler as he was in a tissy. "Wrong, my Yubel has a special ability, she can't be destroyed in battle, and I take no battle damage." Said Jaden smirking. "Grr, I end my turn." Said Crowler.

"First I switch Yubel into Attack mode, then I play my Staunch Defender trap card, now Ancient Gear Golem and Ancient Gear Soldier come and attack my Yubel." Said Jaden. "What but what is the point of this?" Asked Crowler. "Simple when my Yubel is attacked while in attack mode I don't lose life points, you do equal to the attack points of whatever monsters attack my Yubel, go Power Rebound." Said Jaden. Everyone watched in shock as they all witnessed Crowlers Monsters attack his Yubel and then all their power was sent blasting at Crowler and eliminating all his life points. "Listen and learn, I am not here to let you all walk over my master, so be warned." Said the Yubel Monster before it vanished.

Up in the rafters two students in blue uniforms stared in shock. "Well looks like I've finally got some competition." Said the boy. "Yeah, and with moves like that he's sure to be put in Obelisk Blue even without the prep school." Said the girl as they watched.
