Yubels Conquest

Chapter 1

Jaden arrived at Duel Academy and was handed Slifer Red gear. Not because he had been dorm shorted but because he'd actually refused to join Obelisk Blue right off the bat. When asked why he told them he'd only join it once he'd beaten the the top Ra student then the top Obelisk to prove to himself he deserved it. As he was walking to the path which led to Slifer he was stopped by a group of blue students. He eyed each of them. "Can I help you guys with something?" Asked Jaden. "Yeah, you can hand over your Yubel card to me." Said the one with the spiky hair. This earned a laugh from Jaden. "Oh you had me going for a second, like an amateurish rookie like yourself could control my Yubel." Said Jaden as he chuckled. "Amateurish Rookie, listen here I am Chazz Princeton, leading Obelisk Blue Sophmore." He snapped angrily. "Huh, well seeing as I already beat the head of Blue I doubt you'd be much more of a challenge but very well, we'll duel tonight under the full moon." He said before walking off. "Oh we'll duel alright, and when I win I'm taking that Yubel." Yelled Chazz. This earned a few onlookers who may or may not have heard this challenge that Chazz put down and almost instantly the entire academy was abuzz with how Chazz was going to get his deck handed to him which did not make him any happier.

Jaden arrived at the Slifer dorms and looked them over. "How ... quaint." He said as he walked into his dorm room finding two people already in it. "Hey, you my roommates?" Asked Jaden. "Yeah, and you are?" Asked the big one. "Oh, you're Jaden Yuki, he's the one I told you about, the one who humiliated Dr Crowler." Said the smaller one. "Yeah, I am, so uh who are you two?" Asked Jaden. "Oh right, I'm Syress and this is Chumly." Said the smaller one. "Hey uh why are you in Slifer if you beat Crowler with a card like the one he told me about?" Asked Chumly. "Simple, I turned down Obelisk Blue, first I must take down the top Ra Student then I'll take out the top obelisk, then and only then will I transfer into the Blue Dorm." Said Jaden. Both of them were shocked by this as they found the very idea of him turning down being an Obelisk Blue shocking.

As the day went on Jaden prepared his cards for his upcoming duel with Chazz, he knew Chazz had watched his duel with Dr. Crowler based on him knowing about Yubel, but what he didn't know was all of Yubels powers and that is what gave him the edge as he built his deck. Syress and Chumly were shocked seeing his deck full of Fiends and Warriors. "So you really going to risk your Yubel card on simply dueling Chazz?" Asked Syress. "Yeah, but I already know he is going to lose and as such I'll be taking his best card." Said Jaden as he soon finished and loaded his deck into his duel disk. "Wow, I wish I had your confidence, especially around my brother." Said Syress. "Brother?" Asked Jaden. "Yeah, my brother is named Zane, he goes to this school and he's the number one duelist here." Said Syress. "I see, well when you see him, let him know I'm looking for him." Said Jaden before he left to head to the duel. 'Jaden, you need to debut my evolution in this duel, I want that punk to be humiliated.' Said a voice in his head. "Don't worry Yubel, when I'm done, Chazz will be begging for mercy, after all we came here for three reasons, and dueling our way to number one is the main reason." Said Jaden as he arrived where the duel would be.
