Yubels Conquest

Chapter 3

Jaden walked up to Chazz. "You lost, and normally I'd force you to uphold your end of the bargain and hand over your rarest card but your deck would only hurt mine." He said before walking past him and over to Syress, Chumly, and Bastian as their duel had gained a rather large audience. When he walked over to them he overheard Bastian mentioning to Syress how there was a variety of Hero monsters. "He's right, in my deck I have three types of Hero's when it comes to fusion and regular monsters,  Elemental, Evil, and Masked." Said Jaden as he arrived at the group of three. "Masked Hero's, what are those?" Asked Syress. "Masked Hero's are a small variety that require only one monster to summon, as long as the monster has the same element as the fusion monster I wish to summon." Said Jaden as he crossed his arms smiling. Syress was beyond impressed as was Bastian. "I wasn't aware those types of fusions were out in the world." He said calmly. "They aren't, you are looking at the only person to own Masked Hero's, hand given to me by Seto Kaiba after winning a rookie tournament." Said Jaden. "Uh please explain." Said Chumly. "A few years ago I entered a tournament hosted by Seto Kaiba for newbie duelists only and the winner would get a set of cards for their deck hand made by Kaiba Corp that would be one of a kind cards, I won and so I designed the ideas of my Masked Hero's and Kaiba Corp made them and mailed them to me." Said Jaden.

"Cool, tell me, would you be willing to show me one of these Masked Hero's?" Asked Bastian with obvious intrigue on his mind. "Sure." He said as he activated his duel disk before setting it to demo mode. "Choose an element." He said calmly. "Uhm let's go with Dark." Said Syress. "Darkness it is, alright, first I'll summon Elemental Hero Shadow Mist and then I'll play the quick play spell Mask Change and watch as my rookie avenger changes and becomes the ultimate Law Enforcer, Masked Hero Dark Law." Said Jaden as a large armed warrior appeared. "Awesome, what can this one do?" Asked Syress. "Well normally I wouldn't spoil this but Dark Law makes it so anything sent to my opponent's graveyard is banished instead and if you were to draw a card other than your draw step you are forced to randomly banish a card from your hand after you draw." Said Jaden before he took Dark Law off the demo visual and put his stuff away.

After he finished his little lesson and fun dueling and humiliating Chazz, Jaden, Syress, and Chumly went to their dorms. As Jaden walked in he found a letter on his bed and opened it. 'Dear Jaden, you are already driving up a mighty fine reputation but do not forget why I sent you to Duel Academy in the first place, and if you do I am not afraid to exact my price upon the one you care about signed the Demonic Three.' Read the note. Jaden rolled his eyes as he crumbled up the piece of paper. "Yeah yeah yeah, of course I remember the mission but I could care less about your foney threats, you can't hurt the one I care about because she is literally my soul spirit you moronic business men." He said annoyedly before hearing a affectionate aw. "You truly do care about me, how sweet." Said Yubel as she was only messing with him as she knew he cared about her.
