Chapter 3: A Piece Of Memory

The doorbell rings a few times.

"I'll get it! " she shouted from the kitchen and ran towards the entrance.

She opened the door and stared the guest. She was stunned.

The person in front of her covered his face with... a big teddy bear?

" For you, " he let the stuffed toy down uncovered his face.

" Thanks! " she said happily and gave him a friendly smile.

" It looks so cute! " she says out loud, hugging the Teddy bear, closing her eyes while smiling.

" Of course. I picked the cutest one, just for you, " he grinned.

" Dianne! Won't you let Luke in? " Jade rebuked as he sees the two of them were still at the entrance door.

" Sorry Luke, " she punched Luke in the abdomen.

" Ouch! don't you know that hurts? don't you love me? " says Luke moaning in pain.

" You think so? " Dianne says as she stuck her tongue out.

" Stay where you are 'cause I gonna get you now! " Luke ran chasing Dianne with full speed but before that happens,

" Luke, Dianne, stop! How old are you? " Jade yells stopping both of them from playing.

" I'm sorry that she's being rude dude, " says Jade apologizing to Luke.

"It's okay " he walked in the house.

Dianne's head aches as Luke passed by her.

FLASHBACK

" Surprise ! "

" Yah! I thought it was some kids plays around with the doorbell, " she let out a little sigh. 

He grinned as he see Dianne's reaction.

"I'm sorry. By the way,this, is for you "

He held in a Teddy bear to Dianne. She didn't take it but she approached him.

He was stunned with her action. In a sudden, Dianne gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"Thanks! " she smiles

She felt a bit dizzy. Luke notice it. He help her to sit on a couch.

"Are you okay? " he asked

"Just a bit dizzy, " she replied him in pain.

"Have some rest. I'll cook for dinner," said Jade to them.

Dianne was gonna say a word but Jade stops her.

"No objections. " said Jade as he went to the kitchen.

"Yah.. I'm not in the mood right now.. " she said as she crossed her arms while watching tv

"It's because Jade didn't allow you to cook, right? " said Luke

"The moment I knew that you're gonna have dinner with us, I was so excited, "

She release a deep sigh.

" I was planning to cook something special.. " she looked down to the floor watching her feet.

Luke face her then he wrapped his arms on her shoulder.

"You can cook next time, "

She tilted her head, facing Luke's face.

"Really?! "
