Tristan, however, did not take any action in the last couple of days. He had neither told or hinted his feelings for Serenity to either her or Joey. The only other person who did know was Yugi. Serenity was also keeping Tea's secret but wasn't particularly happy about it and kept advising her friend to tell Yugi and Atem the truth.

Yugi and Atem still had no ideas as to how to fight Mirac, so they decided to stop for a while. One morning, Solomon called them down. They came down and there in the shop were Joey, Tea, Tristan, Serenity and Bakura, whom was back from holiday. He looked shocked to see Atem, and even before he saw Atem, Yugi thought that Bakura looked rather pale.

"Hey, guys." said Yugi.

Atem walked to Bakura. "It's good to see you again, Bakura." he said.

"Um, you too, Pharoah." said Bakura.

"You may call me Atem." smiled the Pharoah. But Bakura just stepped back, and he looked more pale and edgy than ever. Atem passed it off as nervousness and rejoined the others.

"So what are you all doing in here?" asked Yugi.

"We got invited up to Duke's shop for a little while for like a better reunion party. You know, like a lunch or something upstairs." said Joey.

Solomon said, "Ah, yes. This letter came, Yugi. It seems to be from Mr Devlin."

Yugi read what was indeed an invitation for an indoor reunion at Duke's shop. It was this afternoon in an hour.

"Sounds like a plan." smiled Yugi. It would be nice for a day of peace and fun.

"We're allowed plus ones." added Joey, "So I'm taking Serenity. And you can take Atem. Bet Duke will be surprised to see them both."

Tristan didn't like the sound of this at all. He knew that Duke always flirted with Serenity during the Battle City tournament and gave her his number afterwards. Duke could present a threat to Tristan ever revealing his love for Serenity. He decided that at some point in the reunion, he would tell Serenity, but he knew that he had to talk to Joey first. He didn't want Joey to think of him badly if he asked Serenity out without telling his best friend of his intentions.

"Ok," said Yugi, "You'll enjoy having a reunion, Atem. It would be like how you reunited with your friends in the Spirit World."

"Yes." said Atem, but he looked saddened at the mention of his old friends. His thoughts returned to Seto, Mahad, Mana and all the others. But he knew that in different ways, they were all with him in this world, so he decided to enjoy this old school reunion.

At the Mirac Mansion, Dr Mirac was working on the Mirac-le Machine still. He was having troubles. The Egyptian God cards' energy was not responding anymore. He had them taken out to save their energy for a refit later. As time passed, he was adding more Spellcasters to take their place in the Machine. More particles of energy were forming from inside.

"For now, these cards will help." he thought to himself, "The Machine is getting closer to completion. Once I refit the Egyptian Gods, hopefully, their energy will fully work on my creation and everyone will feel true happiness."

And Mirac continued, unaware of some dark particles bobbing about inside the Mirac-le Machine.

An hour had passed and Yugi, Atem, Tea, Joey, Tristan, Serenity and a still ill-looking Bakura were ready for the reunion.

They had reached the shop that belonged to the rich Duke Devlin. They were granted entry by the man himself. He had returned from his business trip and had made a fair amount of cash. Yugi was wondering if his grandpa was benefiting out of this business at all, as he seemed sure that Duke and Solomon were still working on a partnership.
