Yugi slept well that night compared to how he had in the last few weeks. Content with the fact several of his friends had had the best day of their lives, Yugi slept better. However he and Atem were still aware of the dangers presented by Mirac and Zorc, and that despite the good things the Mirac-le Machine had done, it had to be stopped.
Atem still didn't sleep. He was constantly in fear of where Zorc was and what he was doing. Until he knew Zorc was out of trouble, Atem could not sleep.
The next morning, Yugi and Atem had finished breakfast and were sat by the television, watching and listening for further news on their friends getting Mirac-les or of the Millennium Items, which they were unable to find. Atem had failed to find information on the Millennium Puzzle the previous day, which was unsurprising as he was in reality talking to Tea trying to persuade her it was Yugi she loved.
Yugi and Atem were finishing lunch later that day when they heard Solomon from downstairs, "Hello, Joey, Tristan and...oh, it's you."
Yugi and Atem listened with interest and concern at the pause and change of tone in Solomon's voice. They wondered who "you" was. They found out soon enough, much to Yugi's regret.
Solomon came up the stairs, looking reluctant. He was followed by Joey and then Tristan. Both of them looked awkward but determined. Joey gestured to someone to come in. They entered. It was Tea and she looked as unhappy to be there than anyone there.
Yugi looked livid. "What is she doing here?"
"You need to talk to each other." said Joey.
"This is getting ridiculous. And we're stuck in the middle of it. You two are meant to be. Just because Yugi had spent a bit of time helping Atem, that doesn't mean you have to break up." said Tristan.
Solomon scoffed and Yugi jumped up.
"So she hasn't told you." he said crossly, "That's only half the reason we broke up. She loves Atem as well, and always has. And she can't choose which of us she wants."
Joey looked at Tea in shock and disgust. Solomon gave her a cross look and Tristan looked disappointed with his friend. Atem only looked at Tea with deep sympathy. She still looked unsure even though he had told her that he did not reciprocate her feelings and that Yugi was the right choice. Joey was really cross because he and Tristan didn't know the whole story. Serenity confessed privately to Yugi and Atem, and they agreed to keep the true reason for the break up a secret, but now Yugi had lost his temper.
"Is this true, Tea?" snapped Joey.
Tea said nothing. She looked pale, sad and feeble.
"You betrayed Yugi, lied to us..." said Joey crossly.
"Calm down, Joey." said Tristan, "Tea never told us anything. We only assumed."
Tea looked grateful, but still didn't make eye contact. She could tell that although Tristan was taking her side as far as possible, he was still ashamed of her for loving Atem.
Yugi was still cross. "Why did you let her in, Grandpa?"
"Because they're right, Yugi. You need to talk things out."
Solomon's voice grew fainter at this point because it was drowned by the sound of a helicopter outside.
Yugi, Atem and Solomon looked outside and saw the helicopter coming in to land outside the shop.
"Not again." sighed Solomon.
Yugi and Atem were confused. The helicopter was unfamiliar. It was neither the tomb guards' nor Kaiba's. It was someone else's.
