The Nightshade society has officially been brought out to the public. The group became a hot topic across the country. The social media is blooming with their names. The applications for the school reached a new record. Even some normie, although just a small amount has applied to the school. Mainly because of (Y/N) being in the school.
(Y/N) agreed to the publicity stunt suggestion, joining the board during the press conference to introduce himself as the first normie student in Nevermore academy.
Over two weeks has passed since then, the school is starting the next chapter. New buildings and dorms are to be built within the next month as more outcasts from outside the country are about to join later by the end of this year. Morticia and Gomez are proud of their achievement, but it came with a burden of paperwork and stress.
(Y/N) hates to admit it, but he feels that he and Wednesday are slightly if not entirely drifted apart. He has to deal with the normie application process. Although he brings along the dark princess with him every time he's out there, they are not as close as before.
Currently in the newly remodeled Nightshade library, all the members were gathered to the meeting by Bianca.
"Okay. Jericho has created a special festival this weekend to commemorate the new success we brought into the town. So as representatives, we should wear something that would leave an unforgettable impression. And by that I mean you two." Bianca, the leader looking Wednesday and (Y/N), who's been silent since the start of the meeting.
"Why are you looking at me when you say that?" The normie boy questions his leader. Some of them chuckled at the question.
"The last thing I want is for you to wear your tank top into town like the one you're wearing in this meeting now." The chuckle turns into laughter. (Y/N) don't want to admit it, but this group is the only friends he has now. And he's not complaining. Quality over quantity. Usually, some jokes and laughs from the others would result in blood and bruises. He is slowly but surely adapted to their way of fun. But at the cost of his relationship with Wednesday. No break ups were initiated by either of them. Yet they didn't get to talk much. Just some greetings when the others are around.
Deciding to use the festival to score a date with the girl, he's going to ask her after the meeting is over.
"And Wednesday, I know you're allergic to colours. But don't show up with just black and white. Even some blue will do." Bianca told the goth girl.
"How about I don't show up at all? It's a win-win for both of us." Bianca just scoffed at her statement.
"Please. Don't start some weird rivalries because of the wardrobe choices. Wednesday is fine the way she is." Enid says trying to cheer everyone up.
"One more thing. About the new normie that's gonna join the school. (Y/N), don't be half assed about it." All eyes on the boy.
"Meeting's over." He says and immediately get up from his seat leaving the Nightshade library.
"Seriously B. Let him handle it. He knows what he's doing." Yoko told the leader.
"I just don't want him to messed it up. You think I didn't notice his eye bags. Or the sleeping pill he's frequently consuming. The board put too much pressure on him. Yet he didn't want any of our help. Talk about stubborn."
"Let him suffer then. He asked for it. I hope some consequences and near death experiences are going to wake him up." Wednesday's statement put everyone on hold.
"Well. If you said so. Just don't want another normie to die on our cause." Xavier replied before getting up from his seat and leaves the room followed by the others. After reaching their room, Enid started to question the relationship status between the Wednesday and (Y/N).
