Mattholomule stared at the open book in his hands, lazily reading over the words but not focusing. Sitting alone deep in the library at a small table for four small rush steps echoes the empty library when Amara appears out of breath. "You won't believe what I saw yesterday, Matt! There was this old lady, she was running around on all fours and barking at anyone and everyone! I believe she was Lylith!" Amara laughed a bit before holding her stomach while sitting down in front of Matt. "Shuh!" Whisper shouted a kid that walked away. Amara rolled her eyes and took out a small brown bag while taking two sandwiches with their juice. One for Matt and one for herself, both ignored the 'don't eat' sighs.

"Wait. For real?" Matt's eyes half widen not putting his book down while munching on the food. "No joke Matt." Amara nodded with a small smile, taking a bite of her food while raising a brow at the book the boy was reading. "Illusions magic basic. Cool. When will you start that class?" Amara hums while drinking her juice and tilting her head. Matt shrugs while taking another big bite and eating, when he finishes his bite, he almost hums.

"It's going to be in a week, I thought ill just practice. I thought he was going to be there." Matt frowns and mutters the last bit while eating, Amara stops mid-bite and stares at Matt half expecting himself to continue. "So? Who's 'he'?" She smirks, Oh Amara knew that whenever Matt was worked up, he would ramble and when he rambles, he spills information that he usually never gives her.

"He's a big idiot. I thought he was taking the classes." Matt looked a bit angry as his ears lowered a bit. Amara tilts her head again frowning confused. "His name?" Matt mutters silently as his ears twitch and turn pinkish. "Augustus. Porter." Mattholomule murmurs again Amara's eyes widen as her smile grows. Matt soon noticed what he said and quickly moved the book aside while staring wide eyes at Amara.

Amara didn't say anything she just smiled at the boy almost hiding her snickers, he glared at her a small blush crossing his cheeks and ears. "Shut up." Raising her hands as she chuckles. "I won't tell a soul." He huffed and rolled his eyes while crossing his arms. "Want to talk about it?" She smiled softly leaning a bit closer. "We still have time till lunch ends. Plus, Ed and Em, are probably doing something else." Amara tilts her head and smiles kindly.

Matt stares at the table frowning, his eye bags growing each day, "He's such an idiot! Urgh, he-he's strong with his magic and he looked badass!" Amara stared at the boy with a blank face, he was on edge, and he was trying to contain or try and phrase his words. "Urgh! He's- Agustus is just weird. He has a club called 'Human Appreciation Society' or something. He's a nerd! I have his club now and I feel bad, he looks at me with sad and angry eyes whenever it's Tuesday. That's the day the H.A.S., meets. He's..." he groans and rubs his face his face softens while Amara worries.

"Matt?" He sighs and shakes his head taking his juice and drinking it. Amara nods a bit at his actions and smiles fondly. "I've heard of the kid. He skipped a year or two from the class. I've seen his skills, they are cool. I've also heard many students trying to get him to do their work, maybe even manipulate him into doing their things." Matt froze and stared at Amara. "I'll hurt them." Matt Glares at her but not exactly at her. Rolling her eyes, she chuckles. "You won't don't worry. Once I heard them planning on how to manipulate him more into doing other things, I hexed them and pulled several pranks."

Matt's eyes widened but he rolled his eyes, Amara was very vengeful and tended to be dark when needed, Mattholomule often saw a few glimpses of that side of her but by the looks of it Amara hated it. "What did you do?" Amara smiled brightly but didn't open her mouth instead she opened her bag and searched for a small picture. Handing it to Mattholomule he raises a brow and stares at it before bursting into laughter.

"A couple of them I have classes with. The twins helped me with the majority of the prank, but I looked for the bees and set them free. Emi and Ed covered them in apple blood." Amara laughed a bit and smiled as Matt smirked. "They deserved it." Handing her the picture the bell rang. "See you after school?" Amara smiled and glanced at the boy. "Sure." Matt waves at Amara while both leave for their classes.

Matt stood staring at the small clock in his hands. Amara was late, she never was late, he grumbles. "Mattholomule?" Matt groans and turns around resting his hands over his hip. "Augustus." Both boys stared at one another before Guss spoke first. "What are you doing here? Classes ended ten minutes ago." Augustus pointed out while glancing at the school. "I know that already" Augustus rolled his eyes before smiling. "Hey! We have to go to the graveyard. What do you say this weekend?"

Matt was about to say something when his ears slightly go down and turn pink. "Ill-" "Hey Matt-. Oh, sorry to interrupt." Amara walked closer her hands in her pockets. "Who are you?" Augustus raises a brow while Amara shrugs. Matt glared at her and rolled his eyes. "Shut it, Mara. What time August?" Amara's eyes half widened before she stared at the two back and forth. "How about nine-thirty?" Matt nods again "Okay. Bye." Matt took Amara's wrist and yanked her slightly guiding her away from the dark skin boy.

"So. That was him? An August?" Amara smiled staring at Matt, said boy's ears twitched slightly turning pink. "Yeah." Amara nodded again and smiled brighter. "Spill the tea man." Matt groans and rolls his eyes "Tea?" "The human Luz told me the expression." Amara chuckles and shakes her head. "It's a term for gossip." Matt nods and huffs, Well, he had to admit to himself, that his problems and the emotions he didn't know all well were pulling up and confusing him. So, talking to someone would be a good idea? Maybe.
