"Sweetie, If you waste anymore time your going to be late!"Jared yelled up the stairs to his teen daughter.

The girl rushed to get her cell from the end table almost tripping on her rug.She cursed to herself when a magazine on her shelf hit her head.

"Alexis!"Her dad yelled much louder this time.The girl ran downstairs careful not fall in her heels.

"Oh thank God your finally down here."Her dad chuckled ruffling her already messy hair.

Cotillion is in 3 days and Alexis was running late to her hair appointment.She was due for a hair redo long past cotillion.

"Come on kiddo, get into the car."Her dad rushed out the door,already starting the engine.Alexis ran out shouting a quick 'I love you' to her mom who was in the kitchen.She hopped into the range rover and her dad drove her off.

They reached the hair salon in about 15 minutes.The brunette kissed her father's cheek and stepped out of the car.

"I'll be back in an hour!"He told her driving in the direction he came.She strolled in checking in at the reception before being led to a chair.

"So what are we going for today?"The hairstylist she learned to be Gary asked.

"As you can see my hair is dull.I need something to spice it up, nothing over the top just a not too soft brown highlight also a wash and trim."

"Your wish is my command."Gary said putting a barber's gown on her before starting to work his magic.

She gasped at her new highlights,and now kept hair.She payed for their service and walked outside wating for her dad to pick her up.

About five minutes later he pulled up,with her mom in the passenger leaving Alexis to stay in the back.They rode to the cotillion venue where Alexis and Sasha got out and Jared went back home.

"Hi Peggy."Sasha greeted the women kissing each other's cheeks in greeting.

"Sasha always great to see you.The fitting area is over there."Peggy pointed at a door down the hall.The mother and daughter duo headed to the area.

She entered the fitting room walking past dresses hung on racks as her mum examined some jewelrry.She found Marissa,Summer,Kirsten and Ryan in the middle of the room.

"Hey guys."She greeted.

"Oh Als I love your hair."Summer gushed touching one of the girls highlights.

"Ryan hey congratulations."she said nodding at the boy.The two girls turned to the girl confused making her give them a 'what'look,shrugging her shoulders.

"Lemme geuss Seth."Ryan geussed.

"Seth."The girl admitted.

The Cohen boy, was to excited at the fact his family wanted to adopt Ryan but he was meant to keep it from him.The boy thought for a second seriously contemplating it.Fuck it.

He grabbed his cell and called Alexis.Telling the brunette all about Ryan's upcoming adoption and if she saw him tomorrow that he was officially a Cohen.

"Oh before I forget, Marissa I was going to call you since your lead deb, uh Seth!"At the sound of his name the boy turned the corner to see the little group walking up to them.

"I wanted to introduce you to a couple of white knights.Incase if any of your girls needed a last minute escort."The woman smiled at the three girls.

"Every girl needs a white knight."Summer said eyeing Ryan up and down.

"Seth Cohen white knight."Seth introduces himself to Summer once more.

"That's a great idea Mrs.Cohen, I don't have a knight yet."Alexis replied to the woman's statement choosing to ignore the exchange between Summer and Seth.
