𝐌𝐄𝐂𝐂𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐎𝐍 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 expected to be sitting in a car with Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Thalia Grace. As she looked out the window all she heard was Percy's mother, Sally telling stories about Percy when he was younger. While Percy tried to stop the conversation, Mecca tried to stifle a laugh. Which made everyone look at her as she has been silent the whole car ride. She thought, "This is Awkward".

As they pulled up to the school. Mecca's stomach dropped as she felt a bad feeling from the school building. As Thalia started to make out the words "Oh, yeah. This'll be fun." Mecca suddenly open the car door and got out. In which she quickly closed the car door. She heard a muffled "rude" come from someone in the car.

As she waited outside for them. She could  hear Sally asking Percy, "Are you sure you don't want me to wait?" Percy responds with a, "No, thanks, Mom,". As he still sitting in his mom's car, he continued to say, "I don't know how long it will take. We'll be okay." Sally continued to speak, "But how will you get back? I'm worried, Percy." You could see how much she was worried about Percy.

Mecca could hear Annabeh's voice reinsuring Sally that they would keep Percy out of trouble. Sally seemed to relax a little and started asking "Do you have everything you need?" Thalia responded with "Yes, Ms. Jackson," with a smile on her face. "Thanks for the ride." She added. "Extra sweaters? You have my cell phone number?" Sally added looking extremely worried.

"Mom—" Percy tried to get out but she cuts him off saying "Your ambrosia and nectar, Percy? And a golden drachma in case you need to contact camp?" Percy suddenly snapped at his mom,  "Mom, seriously! We'll be fine. Come on, guys." Annabeth and Thalia followed Percy outside. Meeting me outside the car.

As we started walking to go inside. The wind blew straight through my hoodie leaving me cold.  Thalia said, "Your mom is so cool, Percy." Percy admitted "She's pretty okay," He continued by saying, "What about you? You ever get in touch with your mom?" Meeca mumbled "Oh shit. " As soon as he said it, he wished he hadn't. Thalia gave Percy an evil look.  "If that was any of your business, Percy—"

But before the conversation can get out of hand. "We'd better get inside," Annabeth interrupted. "Grover will be waiting." Thalia looked at the castle and shivered. "You're right. I wonder what he found here that made him send the distress call." Percy stared up at the dark towers of Westover Hall. "Nothing good," He guessed.

The oak doors groaned open, and the four of us stepped into the entry hall in a swirl of snow. All I could hear was Percy saying, "Whoa." The place was huge. The walls were lined with battle flags and weapon displays antique rifles, battle axes, and a bunch of other stuff. I mean, I knew Westover was a military school and all, but the decorations seemed a little too much.
