The ADA hasn't been on high alert that frequently. To Kunikida's surprise, it's been a slow couple of weeks for the agency. The only phone calls they have received was from citizens complaining about Dazai's irrational behavior with his obsession of trying to kill himself.

The only person who was generally busy was Ranpo. The Police automatically ask for his assistance with any murder case they couldn't solve themselves. Ranpo easily became irritated
within the first two cases he had to travel to. He hated all of the transportation he's been having to do. Especially since he found these cases to be easy to solve, there was nothing entertaining about them. Ranpo would always leave unsatisfied and surprised that the Police Force couldn't solve the mystery on their own.

Thankfully, it's been four days since the last time Ranpo was needed for his Ultra Deduction. So rather than being bored to death at a crime scene, he was busy enjoying himself on his rolling chair with a cherry lollipop propped in his mouth. With his head leaned back, he spins himself around continuously until a hand firmly stops his chair.
Ranpo grunts in irritation as he lazily turns his head in the direction of the person who's bandaged arm was stretched out, holding his chair in place.
"You have company Ranpo-San," Dazai coos.
Ranpo slightly sits up from his chair only to readjust the lollipop in his mouth before slumping himself against his desk in front of him.
"I'm not interested in doing anything today," Ranpo replies sluggishly.
Dazai releases his hand from Ranpo's chair to cross his arms. The taller man rocks back and forth on his heels as he raises an eyebrow at the smaller detective.
"It's that friend of yours from the Guild again," Dazai remarked in a playful tune.
Just from hearing the word 'Guild', Ranpo's head jerked up reflexively. Dazai caught on and flashed a teasing smile.

Poe has been to the Agency a few times. But he usually tends to stay away from the building because he's from an enemy organization. He's always insecure about what the other agency members might think of him. However, Ranpo has constantly assured Poe that it was okay for him to stop by whenever he felt like it. Ranpo wasn't going to let anyone do anything to him.
Even so, Poe normally tended to come only when Ranpo invites him over or when Poe had a novel for him.

Ranpo takes the lollipop out of his mouth while letting out a soft hum, acting as if he was thinking about his new response. Internally, he had already made up his mind about allowing Poe to talk to him. But Ranpo wasn't going to let Dazai see him break so easily.
With an over exaggerated sigh, Ranpo stands up from his chair and pretends to dust himself off.
"I suppose I can make some time then."
Dazai only rolls his eyes teasingly in response as he follows Ranpo to the lobby Poe was patiently waiting at.

Poe was waiting by the office door with his novels held closely to his chest. He stands completely still, trying not to make any movement out of fear of disturbing the other agency members. His eyes were strictly pinned to the floor.
Karl sits securely on his shoulder, his head perking up when he sees Ranpo enter the room. He makes a happy chirp which makes Poe lift his head to see the young detective.

Ranpo had already finished his lollipop but was now just chewing on the stick.
"Hey, Ed! Whatchu doing here?" He asked through muffled chewing.
Poe tightens his grip on the stack of books he was holding. He wasn't the world's greatest detective, but he was smart enough to know that Ranpo had already deduced why he was there. Or just by using common sense. Another mystery novel.
Even so, Poe felt like he had to explain himself.
"I uh... if it's not any trouble, I have a new novel for you to try to solve. I think that this time it'll actually get you stumped!-"
"Ehhhh, I don't know... I've been so busy lately and I haven't gotten any time to catch a break." Ranpo chirped dismissively.
Poe sighed in a pouty manner but before he got the chance to try to bribe him with candy, Ranpo laughs.
"I'm just messing with you, Poe. My latest cases have been so boring. Solving one your books is far more entertaining."
Poe's cheek's burn up as his expression brightens with a wide smile plastered across his face. Hearing Ranpo compliment his novels made him feel good about himself. And it also brought butterflies to his stomach.
