When we got back to Seabrook its civilians heard about the werewolves. A meeting was called upon immediately.

"WEREWOLVES ARE REAL! I always- ALWAYS said the stories of the monsters in the forest were real. And no one believed me!"

"Bucky, I would shut up if you know what's good for you," I snarled at him before returning to my thoughts. I can't believe this. What am I going to do? I have stayed under wraps for so long. Those werewolves better stay out of town, they can't screw anything up! Oh no no no no no... what if they come to town... what if-

No. I'm just going to be calm. If I don't act suspicious, nobody will suspect a thing.

I decide to walk over to Addison, making sure she wasn't freaking out.

        "You alright, Addy?"

"Yeah. I mean they're just werewolves.. what can they do.. other than rip your throat out and tear you to shreds. But they wouldn't do that right...?" I smiled at her.

"You'll be fine, oh look it's your mom! She'll sort out this mess."

"Yeah right! She'll probably just make it worse!" Addison responded, clutching her head between her hands. I patter her back. She was probably right, just being honest.

Addison's parent approached us and Addison reassured them she was fine.

"Aunt Missy, Uncle Dale," Bucky started, wait where the fuck did he come from-

"The crash was horrible, but I protected Addison. Anyone as brave as me would have done the same."

"Pfft, if you call screaming and jumping-" Bucky slapped his hand over my mouth and glared at me, Addison just rolled her eyes,

"Though not really, I am super brave."

"Mom, Dad, everything is fine," Addison reassured them.

"No. It's not fine. They're are werewolves circling us right now waiting to attack!" Her dad replied.

"Yeah, and I'm way too tasty. I'm always looking like a snack," Bucky added, to which I scoffed. "Somebody has to do something!"

"And someone will, hold my purse," Addison's mom said, thrusting her purse into Dale's arms and storming, to the podium. Bucky  and I went to sit down.

"By order of city council, effective immediately, all anti-monster laws are reinstated!" The crowd burst into a hodgepodge of applauds, boos, and confused or upset expressions.

I saw Bucky turn to me, cocking an eyebrow and smiling.

"Shut up," I growled at him.

"I didn't say anything," his smile widened. I glared at him.

Zed rushed to a very distraught Addison, me following closely behind him.

"Zed we need to talk," Addison demanded.

"We do. Even though you didn't write, or respond to any of my letters-"

"No! I wrote, a lot," she paused, showing the letter-pom poms, "the Aceys shredded up all of our letters." She gave the Aceys a look, and they cackled in response, reminded me of hyenas. Hm.. what a wonderful connection.

Zed, ignoring the Aceys, got on one knee, "Addison will you make me the luckiest zombie.. and be my date to prawn?"

Addison gave him a half smile, "no."

"Great- no?" His smile turned into a frown instantly. I chuckled to myself, understanding why Addy said 'no.'

"Everyone's freaking out about the werewolves so the anti-monster laws are in effect again which means-"

"-zombies can't go to prawn. Ouch," Bucky finished, appearing out of nowhere.

"But we're gonna fight this," Addison squinted her eyes, vexedly. Bucky made a stupid face.

"So that's why you said no?" Zed asked. I widened my eyes, flabbergasted. Is he joking? Is that a real question? Whoever said 'no stupid questions only stupid people' would be laughing, screaming, crying right now. Seriously, Zed?? I mean I know he's a zombie, and therefore allegedly supposed to be dumb because of it, but Eliza is a zombie. And she's such a girl boss.

I snap out of my thoughts when I realise Zed and I are the only ones left in the room. He seems to be anxious, biting at his nails.

        "You ok, Zed?"

"Well yeah. I'm just not sure what to do about these werewolves.."

"We'll surely they can't be that bad," I give a nose laugh. Zed glanced around the room then back at me.

"What do you mean? The werewolves aren't even in town yet and they're already messing things up!"

        "What do you mean 'yet'?"

"Well they're obviously going to attack us eventually. The howl was probably a warning."

"Oh jeez. You're starting to sound like Bucky," I paused, Zed laughed and I resumed speaking, "but in all seriousness I hope they don't come to town..." It's true, I really hope they don't. My life could get messed up big time... I mean nobody suspects anything now... but will that change if the werewolves decide to chill here.

"Well I better get going. We have a curfew again I guess," Zed sighs.

We say our goodbyes, and I leave to get to my house.
