Waiting for Dawn (6)

The darkness scares you, so decide to sit tight and wait for dawn.

You also really don't want to go to sleep because you're out here alone, and you almost wish you hadn't broken out of your prison until sunrise.

Although, you couldn't have known this would happen.

Speaking of your prison...

You start feeling it with your hands, but instead of feeling the walls like you expected,some sort of noise is heard instead.

Sounds like... scraping

You quickly look around, but nothing looks out of place as far as you could tell.

Then you start to shiver.

It's not too cold, but the wind makes it a lot colder.

It must be a little strong because you can hear it along with other insects and leaves.

If there's leaves nearby, then you must be near a forest or at least a tree of some sort.

You slowly climb out of your prison and walk toward the sound of leaves.

Eventually, you run into something smooth, and you assume it's a bush that you can hide under.

Well, this isn't much, but at least it blocks some of the wind. Also, it provides a great hiding place in case you actually fall asleep, and you know you're getting a bit tired.

Your legs feel so very tired

Almost as if you had never used your legs before.

Even though you have.

And it's also becoming harder to think

You Yawn...

No, I have to stay awake because there could literally be anything out there. Sadly, after a few minutes of desperately trying to stay awake, you ultimately fail.

As your eyes get harder to stay open and your mind starts drifting off, you tell yourself that you'll just rest your eyes for a minute.

You wake up in your bed.

Wow, that was some dream

You jump out of bed and look around just to be sure you aren't dreaming.
Then you get up, get dressed, make your bed, and go eat breakfast.

As you make breakfast, something starts to not make sense

Did I just jump out of bed because I never do that? You think. Also, did I make my bed before breakfast? I never make my bed until way later.

Then you look at the clock.

It says it's 9:37 AM.

Ok, that's normal

It also says April 31st, which is the correct day because yesterday was April 30th.

Must've just been motivated to get the day started. I guess dreams can motivate you.

Well, I think I want to head to the library first. I should probably be reading something more than Wings of Fire. You laugh

Or I could go back to bed because it's Saturday if I'm not mistaken.

Well I can only pick one.
