"Please check the board in front of you for the results!", the representative's voice rang out after a while.

They were finally at the end of the Provisional Hero License Exam, all of the hundred students looking exhausted as the equally sleepy representative announced the results after a long day of fighting.

"Its there!!"

"Its really there sob!"

Various voices sounded as the students excitedly found their names on the display board. Finding his own name, Deku was pleasantly surprised,

'I did it All Might!', he thought to himself happily.

The others from class-1A were delighted too, turning to each other and sharing the news in excited voices,

"I passed!"

"Me too...!"

"I can't believe this..!"

Among all the cheerful voices, Bakugou's eyes dropped down, 'Its not there...', his name wasn't visible on the board.

Staring at Deku and the others rejoicing, his back slumped visibly, showing both his exhaustion and disappointment. The cold sweat from earlier had yet to evaporate, making his bangs soaked.

"Bakubro...", just as he was sweeping them up and wiping the sweat off, red hair suddenly popped in front of him.

Seeing Kirishima's sad expression, he knew that the other had noticed his failure too. Shaking his head tiredly, Bakugou just patted him to go away, not wanting to talk about anything.

Kirishima was surprised and saddened by his response, the reaction he expected from the other wasn't like this at all, 'I thought he would shout angrily like usual..'

But the only reaction he got was the always explosive person tiredly waving his arms, 'Come to think of it, so many disturbing things happened around Bakubro recently..', remembering the kidnapping incident, paired with his silence after All Might's retirement, Kirishima was worried.

Glancing back at the lonely figure as he joined the others, he sighed, 'I wish Nijibro was here...then at least he would be more relaxed', as someone who was close to both of them, he knew best the change in Bakugou when Nijirou was around.

'Aizawa-sensei said Njiibro wouldn't be able to attend the results-announcement..', the only thing Kirishima was glad about in this situation was that he saw Nijirou's name clearly displayed on the passed-participants board,

'At least Nijibro passed...'

The representatives voice still continuing made him look forward again,

"-the people who failed don't need to be worried, we have arranged extra classes for you and although you can still retake the exam after 3 months, these classes will help you develop into a better hero. You'll get your hero-licenses at the end of this special class", he paused before continuing with a kinder tone,

"The 1st round was just to take out all the truly ineligible people...but we have great expectations from you hundred people. You all have the potential to become outstanding heroes."

His words made Bakugou's eyes regain some light again, feeling a little hopeful, 'I won't be too behind...'

He glanced at all his classmates' expressions and narrowed his eyes, feeling unpleasant. Especially when his eyes swept past Todoroki and Inasa apologizing to each other, he frowned so tightly, one could feel his displeasure from a mile away.

'Apologizing to each other doesn't change shit. They didn't even apologize to the actual victim in the first place', he completely ignored the fact that the two didn't even have a chance to meet Nijirou afterwards.
