Waking up the next day, Nijirou felt refreshed like never before. He got to class early and chatted with his seatmates as usual, but he was more active. The dark circles always lining his eyes were also gone.

When the first period of classes started, he took out his book and prepared to lie down.

'.....I can't sleep', he realized as he blinked his sleepless eyes and sat up straight, 'Slept too much yesterday'

'Maybe I should listen to class then', he thought, 'Then I can fall asleep, especially because it's math'

But no matter what he tried he couldn't get himself to fall asleep, so he took the last resort....which was to listen to class.

He scratched his head at the unfamiliar figures and concentrated on listening to the explanation.

"And that's how you use this formula", the chalk on the forefront of the class stopped moving as Ectoplasm finished his explanation.

"I don't understand sirrrr!", Denki was wailing.

Beside him Mina was also holding her head in resignation, "Please explain again~~"

Bakugou, who understood the explanation at once, was trying to solve the problem the teacher had newly written on the board. Suddenly he heard scratching sounds from beside him.

Tilting his head he saw Nijirou who was writing something in his notebook. His eyes widened, 'He's not sleeping?', he had never seen Nijirou awake for a class if it wasn't the hero training.

Nijirou continued to write in his notebook and when he felt like he had solved the problem, he looked up as if waking up from a daze. He looked around at the busy class, arguing with the teacher for a re-explanation; and then at his own notebook.

He saw the answer and doubtfully tapped his pen on his cheek twice.

Just when he was about to raise his hand for the teacher, he heard a voice, "Its correct."

He looked at Bakugou beside him and replied, "This answer?"

"Yeah"

"Oh thanks", Nijirou was happy and smiled.

Bakugou coughed lowly and took the book from Nijirou, "How did you do it?"

"Uh I just applied the formula like he explained. Just substitute 'x' for....", Nijirou answered him.

"Hmm that's right", Bakugou was thoughtful, 'He learned very fast; considering he doesn't even know the basics.'

He wrote another problem on the book and passed it back, "Do this then."

Nijirou was confused as to why he had another question to solve, but took the book without any scruples. The problem was the same as the previous one but looked more tricky.

He solved the problem quickly and passed it back, "Done"

Bakugou looked at his answer and nodded his head, "Correct". 'He's not half bad if he can solve even this', he thought to himself.

He was still looking at the answer when he felt a gaze. Turning his head back, he saw Nijirou looking at him with bright and wide eyes.

He raised his eyebrows, a question mark forming on his head.

Nijirou pouted slightly, "You're not gonna praise me?"

Bakugou froze with the notebook in his hand, "Huh?"

"Puhahhahaha", Kirishima looked at him and burst into laughter, "Bakubro is shell-shocked!"

"You should praise him, he asked for it", Todoroki was also smiling slightly, as if to suppress his laughter.
