Part 1 : evans

As I paced the halls looking for Severus I saw James, humongous big head and resident toe rag. 'Hey Evan' he said blushing, hand flew to his hair which was jet black and seemed untameable. How I wished I could try taming it.  ' hello potter, not in detention I see. Skipped it or batted your eyes?' I say trying to ignore my thoughts.             'Well Evan the fact you think I'd do such a thing is preposterous I am the good one!' I come up with a retort quickly. 'Yeah you compared to who? Certainly not Remus, am I right?' His face contorted into concentration as he thought deeply on a come back. I just wanted to kiss it but no because Severus came round the corner.

'Hello Sevy how are you?' I say as innocently as I could even though I didn't do anything except talk to his enemy.   He gave me a dirty look as if I had it painted blue. ' hello lily, I'm well thank you. Now why were you taking to that pompous big head. Almost as if you were scrutinising with the enemy. No you wouldn't do that would you?' He said irritated. 'No never Severus why would you think that?'
He never responded.
That's how Hogwarts worked now. I talk to James Severus got mad. Yet I wouldn't change it for the world.
As I got back to my dorm after that encounter with James and Severus didn't speak to me after snapping at him about the fact that he's obsessed with James. Always James this and James that. After that he called me a filthy mud blood. Told me he was sorry but I don't believe him.
Marlene was waiting for me as always. 'Hey marls. What's up.' I say causally to her. 'Nothing much but I do have some gossip.' She says with a smirk. 'Better be good with the look on your face.'
'Most certainly. Our Alice is going out with frank longbottom!!'
'No'
'Yes'
'Oh the treachery. We promised we wouldn't get with any boys.'
'Oooh I reckon you'll get a boy next for sure.'
'You wish.' I say sticking out my tongue.
We bust out laughing.
