James part 6

Lily invited me to the three broomsticks! I'm ecstatic! Really I am. I skip over to Remus and Peter.
"Boys, we are postponing any pranks. I've got a date with my lily flower!" I say proudly.
"Yeah probably, in your dreams!" Remus says jokingly.
"Nope actually she invited me!"
"Yep sure. Hey Sirius apparently you were there is what paddy saying true or will we have to send him to a insane asylum." Remus says.
"Nope she really did ask him out."
So for the rest of breakfast I sat there smiling at the thought of what might happen.
As the morning of hogsmead came by I found myself panicking what to wear with Sirius saying what he thought of them. Within 2 hours we finally agreed on a quidditch shirt, jeans and a denim jacket courtesy of Sirius. A pro of having someone the same size as you.
I soon found myself waiting patiently with an impatient Sirius who begged to meet with her before hand. I could almost imagine the shit he would say.
We were waiting at the entrance of the entrance hall looking to see the fiery redhead who stole my heart. I soon found her descending the steps in a oversized hoodie and black denim jeans.
I smile and wave her over here.
"Now don't you make a fool of yourself sir otherwise my chances that were already thin will be tissue thin." I warn padfoot.
"I will be a little angel mother."
And with that he ran over to her and spoke to her for about 5 minutes till running back saying...
"She's a keeper, you're going to marry her."
"I already had that planned but what's your reasoning."
"She gave me a surprise. She gave me sugar. She gave me chocolate!"
I just shake my head and smiled at his happiness.
"So you ready to go." I turn around to face lily.
"You look beautiful." I say blatantly.
"Oh it's just some old clothes nothing special. And you look nice too."
"Thanks."
