Chapter 2

As soon as I enter the cafe my nostrils were filled with the smell of coffee and books. My baker and best friend Lily already had a mug filled with coffee ready for me to inhale, as I can't function without it. Lily was one of the biggest reasons that I could open the cafe. " You know I love you right!!? I don't know what I would do without you!", I said Lily and I met at the college canteen in our first year. I saw her reading a book and I just couldn't not talk to her about it, what she thought about it. And we have been friends since. She has been a big support for the cafe even when it was still on my head. So when my best friend was an amazing baker I didn't have to find another. We have two more people Ben and Kelly to help around the cafe.

Ben and Kelly don't come until noon so it was just Lily and me for the time being. We were in the middle of a conversation when the bell on the entry door chimed. Lily went into the kitchen so I can take the order. The first thing I noticed was his hands. And it was BEAUTIFUL.  One of my biggest weaknesses was a man with gorgeous hands and feet. I know to some people it sounded weird but to me, it was very attractive. And just my luck the said man noticed me staring at his hands. He cleared his throat and I was an instant beat root.  Without looking up I took his order and asked him to wait for his order. I busied myself making his cappuccino. I felt very rude to not smile and greet a customer properly. So I put a smile on my face like I do for all my customers and handed him his coffee. As if having pretty hands were not enough, the man was breathtaking. He was at least 6'1, and had the most beautiful set of deep blue eyes I've ever seen. His dark brown hair was a bit long and his back brushed perfectly. Perfect red lips to kiss. I think he's going to work as he's dressed in a suit, black from head to toe. Awestruck was the perfect word for what I felt seeing the man. " Thank you?" He said it more like a question so I was a bit confused. " Your name?" " Ohh it's Feray," I said. " It's a very unique name, I've never heard it before. But it's beautiful just like the owner of it" I'm pretty sure I was red all over my face and neck. But he continued, " I am Caelus, and thank you for the coffee" He winked at me and left. Within a second Lily was beside me " I could feel the tension all the way from the kitchen you and that tall hottie were having. What was that?" " I.. I've.. he was gorgeous"  Lily was grinning at me while she said " WOW I think our little Feray just had love at first sight" " Shut up it was more of a crush maybe.. at max. I don't even know the guy. And I think there's something wrong with his beautiful eyes as well because I think he just called me beautiful" Lily just stared at me, " First of all there's nothing wrong with his eyes you are gorgeous girl. I mean look at you! I could die for those racks you've got and don't even let me start with that ass. of yours. You literally have the perfect hourglass body. Plus I like that the guy has a good eye for women at least. I hope he comes back so I can test him and see if he's good enough for you" " As if, just because he passed the looks criteria he'll pass the others. Especially with the way he looks he has to be rude and arrogant." " Well I guess you're right but never say never," she said in a singsong voice while wiggling her eyes. I just rolled my eyes and went back to take orders.

At 7 Lily and I closed the cafe and came to my apartment. It was a two-bedroom apartment with one bathroom, a decent-sized living room, and a small open kitchen in the corner of it. Lily and I ordered some Chinese and took bears out from my refrigerator. We rewatched two episodes of FRIENDS before none of us could keep our eyes open anymore. So Lily crashed into my guest room and I went to mine. Within a second of laying on the bed, I was out.
