Chapter 4

Lily took us to this new club called Moon Light, which opened this week. The bouncers checked our ids before letting us in. It was so loud I could feel the music in my whole body. The first flood was the dance floor and a bar. Lily told me the second and third floor was for the VIPs with their own bar. The club had a nice bar. We made our way to the bar and Lily ordered four tequila shots, two for each of us. "First round is on me" she shouted over the music. We were talking about how nice the club was when our shots arrived. The first shot, I could feel it to my toes, then the second was gone in a second. We ordered one more round and as we felt a bit tipsy we made our way to the dance floor. 

Lily and I have been had been dancing for half an hour, some guys came and join us but left when we didn't show much interest. Suddenly I felt like I was being watched but I didn't see anyone. After five more minutes, Lily went to the restroom and I went to the bar to wait for her. I order a cocktail and was just sitting there when a guy took the stool next to me. " Can I buy you a drink??" The guy was clearly drunk as his words were slurry. I politely refused and the bartender came back with my drink. But the guy beside me scooted his stool closer to me and said " I am Jake. What's your name? " I tried but didn't like the way he was leaning my way so I stood up and told him I was with a friend and was going to find her. But Jake just won't take no for an answer he caught my wrist, " Come on you don't have to play hard to get I like what I see anyways." Lily came back and saw Jake holding my wrist, " What do you think you're doing, she clearly isn't interested in you just find someone who is" But Jake just won't let go of my hand. " Bitch is just playing hard to get, I'll give you some too if you join us," Jake said. Before I could say anything I felt a heavy hand on my waist and my back met a hard chest. " There you are baby, I've been looking for you. I'm sorry the meeting took so long" The owner of the hard chest said and my heart skipped a bit. I knew that demanding voice. I looked up and met the same set of blue eyes I wanted to see all day. I winced went I felt Jake's grip tighten around my wrist. Caelus's eyes immediately went to my wrist and his eyes seemed to be darkened. " I suggest you let go of my woman's hand before I break yours" he growled, and my whole body pulsed with his demanding voice. Jake finally let go of my hand and said " Whatever the bitch isn't worth the fight"  I don't think he meant to say it out loud but he did. Caelus's hand was instantly around Jake's throat " What did you call her!!?" Jake could hardly breathe let alone answer Caelus's question. I didn't want a fight to break because of me so started Caelus's hand off Jake's throat " Caelus please let him go" Instead of letting go he just stared at me. Thankfully the bouncers came and escorted Jake out of the club. I was so embarrassed that without saying anything I just took Lily's hand and left.

I dropped Lily at her place and came to mine. I took a shower and changed into sleeping shorts and a tank top. While eating the leftover pizza I kept thinking how Caelus's hand felt around me and how he called me his woman. Even if he said it just to save me I felt good even though I was also very embarrassed that Jake called me a bitch in front of him. But why did he react like that, it's not like I was actually his woman. My head was hurting thinking everything that happened so I called it a night and went to bed.
