Banditkit awoke after a nice long sleep, yawning as she turns to say good morning to her mother, but she was asleep, Banditkit walking off.
She decided to sit next to two gossiping apprentices, relaxing as the dawn patrol got sent out, wondering what being on a patrol is like. Sighing, she lays her head back down, almost falling asleep.
"Did you hear that Stormkit snuck out of camp last night?"
"No, tell me about it!" the other apprentice replied.
"So she-" the apprentice got cut off by Banditkit.
"No! That isn't true. I'll be honest, it was me." The two ignoring BanditKit and continuing to spread gossip.

(The next day)

A group of kits and apprentices surrounded Stormkit, crowding her with questions, gossip, and rude comments. Also a few scratches and bites.
"Ouch, leave me alone! That isn't true, go away!" She hissed.
"Hey, leave her alone!" Banditkit mewed, nibbling an apprentice's leg, he easily shook off BanditKit, biting her, enough to make her squeal and run off to get Bettastar.
"Yeah Banditkit, get the leader. I'm so scared!" Pikepaw mocked her.
He hissed, biting her tail and ordering that she doesn't tell anyone.

(Later on that day)

Another rumor had gone around, but this time it was framing Banditkit of trying to kill Pikepaw!

"This is unacceptable! Pikepaw needs to stop spreading these rumors, or we'll be exiled before we even become apprentices. Any ideas, Stormkit?" She addressed the situation with her sister, concerned.

"I'm pretty sure all's going to be fine..." She mewed, the guilt visible on her face.

She got up, ready to confront the apprentice, ignoring what her sister had just said to her.

"Pikepaw, you mousebrain, get out of there. You can't hide in there forever, you know!" She reminded him as he left the apprentice den, a grumpy look on his face as though she had woken him up.

"What do you want?" He hissed, ready to leave the conversation at any given moment.

Banditkit exhaled, ready to address the situation.

"Why do you spread these mouse brained rumors? It's almost like you're trying to make enemies!" She hissed, the anger visible in her developing flame colored eyes.
"Because I can, and also. That's none of your business, Banditkit, I do what I want!" He retorted, raising his lip and baring his teeth as he walked off.

Banditkit adressed what was going on to Fogleap, who she was hoping would give her some recommendations and make her feel better.

"Why are some cats so mean, mama?" She asked, hoping for a wise answer, in which she always provided her with.
"Because it gives them a sense of power, which they like to use against others, they often deal with a lot of trouble in their life which carves out their rough personality, I hope that's a proper answer." She spoke firmly, grooming the two kits.
"Thanks" the kits said in unison, purring as they gave eachother a silly look.
"Hey mama, I have a question for you" Stormkit spoke up
"Of course, what's up Stormkit?" She asked, making sure to put her kits first as rain droplets begin to coat the leaves.
"What will we do when you die?" She asked, looking almost... worried.
"You will have stay strong and protect your family.. But you don't need to worry for quite a while." She replied, recommending that the two get some sleep.

BanditKit purred as she snuggled up against her mother's soft pelt, shielding her from the rain as she slowly blinked her eyes shut for the night.
