What a terrifying thought
But that's nothing I need to think about now, I'm so young- she's so young
That's something for the future
Something to think about
When I'm all grown up and mature,
When I know how to do my taxes and pay my bills, how to choose my insurance plans and which house to rent
What meal to cook for dinner which jacket to wear for winter
To think about living without my mom
That's a thought for the future
Until I realise maybe future might not be as far as I hoped it to be
That this is something I need to think about now,
I'm getting older, she's getting older
This is not a thought for the future
This is something for the present
Something to think about as I'm growing up and childish
When all I do is wash poorly and mix up the whites with coloured laundry
What tone to upset my mother which topic we should bicker
To think about living without my mom
That's not a thought for the future
