It was just another day back at school, same old, same old. Valt would go up to Shu and greet him in his normal, cheerful voice. Then, Anne would come along.

"Good morning Shu!" The bluenette exclaimed.

"Morning!" The red-eyed male replied.

They walked and talked for a bit, heading towards their first class. "Alright, well I'll catch up to you during break, okay?" Shu said, they didn't have any classes together in the morning. "Mhm!" Valt nodded in agreement. And with that, the two of them parted ways.

— With Shu —

The albino sat down, getting his things ready for class. When suddenly, someone joins him at the table. It was Anne.

"Hey there Shu," She greeted him joyfully.

"Oh, hey Anne."

The teacher comes in the room, and everyone quiets down as class officially starts.

Time Skip: 45 minutes

Shu continues writing in his notes, while Anne only stares and watches him. He can sense this, and it's starting to get a bit uncomfortable.

"Erm, could you stop staring please?" He asked, trying not to sound rude.

"Sorry, you're just really a sight for sore eyes," She smiled, placing her hand on his. He flinched at the contact, moving away from her. "Don't do that."

"Why not?"

She was starting to get on his nerves by now. "A no is a no. Don't you understand?" He was clearly irritated.

"Alright, geez. But could you help me with this question?" Anne said, pointing at her paper. He reluctantly agreed, moving a bit to get closer.

After a few minutes of explaining, she's finally able to solve it. "So, that's how you do it." He finishes, packing up. The first lesson was done.

"Aw, thank you Shu. You're the best!" She jumped up and hugged him tightly.

But outside the classroom, someone was watching them.

— With Valt —

The sight was painful. Anne hugging Shu bothered the bluenette way too much. Too much than it should have.

But why? She knew that Valt liked him.

She knew.

And that made it ten times worse.

Maybe she was going too far.

However, there was nothing he could do about it. Not now, at least.

So he just walked away.

— With Shu —

"STOP." The albino pulled away. Just then, he caught a glimpse of Valt walking, he had a rather sad expression on his face. He saw all of that.

Anne stopped and looked outside.

"You know Valt. And his feelings. So why did you?" He sternly questioned.

"I didn't know he would see that."

"Still."

"Why do you care so much anyway? Don't tell me you like that sensitive loser back." She muttered, just loud enough for Shu to hear.

"Don't call him that."

"But it's the truth. Shu, when are you going to open your eyes? That kid is crazy for you!"

"And do you have a problem with that?" He asked. It was quite ironic, since he himself didn't find anything wrong with that.

"Yes, but that's not important anymore. Since you keep defending Valt, you might as well just ask him out. Heck, ask him to be your boyfriend even."

Shu's POV

What? I'd never thought about Valt as more than my best friend.

But why am I not the least bit bothered by that idea?

"Now that's just insane." I say, grabbing my bag. "I'm going to be late, so bye."

I leave the room and start running to my next class.

Anne is crossing the line.

But right now, I'm worried for Valt. He seemed really sad, I should clear things up with him.
