Not All Perfect

Last night was fun until the whole pool thing. I don't know why Amanda would do that to Millie.
I am walking to the cafeteria, it's break time and we all meet at our table during break.

"Hey. Sorry about the morning, today's math class was really important otherwise I would have never left you alone with Millie." I left Millie with Archie at his house and I am kind of sure that they had atleast one fight because they both can't stand each other but I had no choice.

" Your sister can really be pain in the ass. How do you even survive with her?" Archie asked.

"Hey, Dude come on. She is not even that bad. She is just a little bit out of track." I said to Archie. But he was somewhat right. Millie is getting way too tough to handle.

"Hey Ty, I don't want to interfere in your sisters life but don't you think that she should be umm able to talk to someone, someone that is not you." Archie was not talking straight and it was obvious for me to figure it out.

"What are you suggesting? Say in clear words."

"You know the drinking, not wanting to come to school, partying ohh let's not forget making out with Reggie... I. Okay the point is she is only making bad descisions and she cannot afford those in senior year. She need to figure her stuff out and I think it is only possible if she talks with someone openly." Archie sounded serious and he was not trying to make fun of Millie, he genuinely cared about her.

"So you are suggesting Millie should see a therapist?" I questioned Archie. He gave me a nod but not letting the yes word out of his mouth.

" My mom tried to convince her near the period when her mom died but she never agreed to it. I myself tried to convince her but you know how stupid it is to have a debate with her." If Millie had made her mind then there is no way someone is able to change it.

"Oh." Archie let out. He was upset after hearing my words. Okay. Now I am confused. Since when do Archie cares about Millie?

"Since when did you start caring about Millie, Arch?" now I was a little bit concerned, Archie do not talks about Millie unless and until there is something serious to talk about.

"No I don't care abo--" I cut Archie in the middle of his sentence.

"I can figure when you are lying Arch, what's the matter?" Archie's face turned pale.

"Do you remember when you asked me to give my clothes to Millie because Amanda pushed her in the pool and she was all wet." I had no idea where this was going. Did Archie sleep with Millie? But that is so impossible he was with me after few minutes but he did take some time.

"I remember that Archie just come to the point." I cannot live in more suspense.

"Millie was not in a very good shape then and because of the drinking she thinks---"

"Archie finish the sentence you are freaking me out."

"She thinks that she is a burden on you and that you don't want her in your life and you are just taking care of her because you are obliged to."

How can she really feel that way. Doesn't she know that I actually love her and I am doing all of this really from my heart. Am I not being enough?

"She really said that you?" I needed to confirm if Archie didn't misunderstood Millie's words.

"Yup."Archie's voice was low. He knows how much this hurts me. How can Millie feel that way? Am I that bad brother.

"Archie? Am I that horrible brother?" My voice broke. I could cry right now but I didn't want Archie or anyone to know. So I tried to keep my self together.

"No Ty, ofcourse not. You're completely making a different meaning of my words. I am not saying that you are a bad brother. All I think is---." Archie may not say it directly but I am not dumb. It was foolish of me to ask to him. Ofcourse he was going to say no. I needed to talk to Mille. I needed to know what she thinks of me.

"I am gonna go talk to her." I had to. I headed towards the class that Millie had. Archie tried to stop me from going there but I ignored him.

"Ty, stop this isn't the right place or time to talk about this thing. You are angry right now and you don't have to be--" I stopped him.

"Arch don't... just don't." I walked faster towards Millie. She was making out with Reggie, ofcourse she was.

"Hey get off my sister." I said while seperating them.

"Dude calm down."Reggie told me.

"Do not tell me what to do right now." I was way too much angry right now. I didn't want to cry and look weak so I switch my emotion to anger.

"Ty all okay? Why are you so angry?" How could she even ask me that? She goes and bitch about me to my bestfriend and then pretend as if nothing happened.

" You tell me, something you want to say to me?" She had a blank space. My high voice had grabbed everyones attention in the hallway.

" Ty, why are you creating a scene, what is going on?" Millie tried to act like she had no idea why I am angry. She complains about me to my bestfriend and thinks that he wouldn't tell me.

" How dare you? How dare you go to my bestfriend and tell him what an imperfect brother I am, about how I let you down and that I don't care about you, how can you do that to me Millie. Why would you do that?"
Archie grabbed my shoulder trying to calm me down but my anger today was at different level.

"Lower down your voice Ty, you are grabbing everyone's attention." Archie whispered in my ears. Millie's face was blank, she was acting all innocent.

"Don't talk to my girl like that, you pussy." Reggie yelled. I was already so mad and he had to say that right now.

"You don't wanna mess with me right now, Reggie. And she is not your girl." I said in a low angry voice.

"What you gonna do, if I mess with you, huh? You gonna hit me little baby." Reggie was trying to trigger and proveke me and was successing at it. I grab my fist tightly. Trying not to hit him.

"Reggie leave him alone." Millie ordered Reggie.
" Babe come on, he is so bossy with you. We need to teach him a lesson." I am bossy? How can he say that, I let Millie do whatever she wants.
"You know what babe, this one's for you." Reggie hit his hard fist on my face. It hurted. Everyone around us started to hoot. I was going to hit him back but Millie pulled Reggie towards her and slapped his face hard enough. Archie grabbed Reggie collar and started to hit him hard. Reggie was trying to fight back but was failing until our Math professor Mr.Sheikh intrude. He sent both Reggie and Archie to Principal's office and everyone else left for their classes.

"Ty, what was that?" Millie asked me. "You are never this angry, I swear I don't remember what I said to Archie. But if my words have hurted you any way then I am sorry, I really am, and I swear I won't hangout with Reggie ever again." Millie was begging me for forgiveness.

"Don't do that, don't try to act all innocent and make me believe that you are sorry when we both know that you aren't." I couldn't just let this thing go.

"Ty..." I didn't Millie say anything else.

"Please just leave me alone."I left the school and went home.
