Y/N awoke long before his alien captive. He had actually set an alarm on his watch to wake him up after six hours. He knew the Wizard would be conked out, so he wanted to wake up first and avoid a possible escape situation. It didn't seem like the alien had anywhere else to go, though. All the other Hive had been slain, and there weren't any Tomb ships overhead looking for their lost comrade. The man just assumed that they didn't really care what had happened.
His prisoner was sleeping somewhat peacefully, having fallen over onto the ground. It was curled up in a fetal position, muscles a bit tense. It wasn't exactly warm in the forest at night, but Y/N hadn't even thought about the Wizard's needs or comfort other than food, which it had certainly enjoyed. Chastising himself for the oversight, he unrolled a thick, furry bearskin he had gotten from one of his kills early on in the forest. Bears were terrifying up close, but since the man fought like a coward all the way up in a tree with modern weaponry, it wasn't much of a challenge.
After shaking the fur a few times to flatten it out, Y/N let it fall over his unconscious alien captive. Soon enough, it's muscles relaxed, and it's expression became a little more peaceful. He was confident that as long as he kept the Wizard at least a little comfortable, he would get more info about the Hive from it. He still wasn't sure how he was going to learn its language, but he could think of something later.
After a few hours of fiddling with his gear while the sun rose, Y/N's peaceful relaxation was brought to an end by the sounds of Fallen in the distance. Immediately filled with adrenaline, he kicked the ashes of the fire from the previous night out of the way, covering the area with leaves. He quickly picked up all of his outstanding belongings and placed them inside his pack, zipping it up.
Hurriedly making his way over to the Wizard, which was still asleep, he gently shook it awake. It was still a bit groggy, looking around the tidied campsite with a touch of confusion. After a moment, it seemed to realize where it was, but before it could make any noise, Y/N covered its mouth with his hand. The Hive looked up at him, wide eyed, but it remained silent. He removed his hand and pointed into the distance. It seemed to have heard the sounds of the Fallen as well, as its facial expression grew panicked. Y/N remained calm, however, and his demeanor seemed to reassure the Wizard a little.
He helped the alien to its weak feet, supporting its weight with his shoulder. It was wobbly, but with assistance it was able to stand. Unfortunately, there was no way they were going to outrun the Fallen patrol like that. Y/N had already realized that, though, and he pointed to a thick tree nearby. He didn't bother speaking, since he knew his prisoner wouldn't understand him, but he pulled out his tree climbing hook and stuck it in the bark to accentuate his point.
The Hive looked up at the tree, a bit fearful, but understanding what the man had in mind. He nodded, quickly untying his prisoner's hands. He had felt a little bad about leaving the creature bound for so long, but it had to be done for his own safety. Now, that didn't matter, as they had to cooperate if they wanted to live.
