Chapter 4

POV of Mason Gleeful

Once Will hit the floor, I immediately stood up and ran over to him, shaking him gently. "Mason, What the hell are you doing?!" Mabel scoffed. I sighed and picked Will up in a bridal style. "What the f*ck is wrong with you both?!" I yelled at them. Ford tried to grab Will from me, but I turned away before he could touch him. There's something dripping on my arm. I thought to myself, then looked down to find bright red blood covering it. I shifted Will to a position where I could carry him with one arm, and lift his head up with the other. "W-What the hell..." I whispered to myself. "You...you guys cracked his head open..." Mabel cackled then looked at me. What the hell was wrong with her? She just cracked somebody's head open, and she's laughing about it? Ford started to join her. "So what? he's a damn demon! He can heal himself." I looked down at Will and grabbed a nearby rag. You haven't even done anything wrong...I felt terrible that I didn't do anything sooner. I put the rag over the wound on his head then carried him back to his room. "A**HOLES!" I yelled at Mabel and Ford. They groaned and cursed me back, then left the room.

I laid Will in his bed gently, then pulled the covers over his body. "Poor kid..." I murmured to him softly. He's probably been through so much, there had already been scars on his body when we summoned him. He is also horribly thin, I wonder when the last time he ate was. I looked over at the corner of the room to find a scratched-up wooden chair. Man, this room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Then again, before we had Will with us this used to be an attic. I walked over to the chair, then picked it up and put it next to Will's bed. I wasn't gonna leave this room until I knew for sure that Will was alright.
