Kevin: Fujin, engaging.
Jeremiah: Jester, engaging.
Mavis: Twintails and Doc, engaging.
The teams engaged each other in the air. As expected Hayabusa 1 activated his ECM pod. It fizzed the Kestrel's HUD.
Jeremiah: My missile's not homing in properly!
Kevin: So this is how it feels to be affected by EW aircraft.
Hayabusa 1 launched a missile at Marcy, hitting her.
Home 1 - 0 Away
Marcy: Damn.
Hayabusa 1: (In Japanese) Show them the might of the Eagle!
Hayabusa 3 fired on Jeremiah but he narrowly avoided it.
Jeremiah: Too close for comfort.
Kevin: Use your gun, now!
Kevin strafed Hayabusa 2 and landed several shots.
Home 1 - 1 Away
Marcy: I got this one.
Marcy landed a missile on Hayabusa 3.
Home 1 - 2 Away
Mavis: We got one, somehow.
Marcy: It's a little hard, but not impossible.
Hayabusa 1's ECM pod deactivated, making life easier for the Kestrels.
Kevin: Their ECM is down. Attack! Attack! Attack!
The Kestrels pushed hard, firing missile after missile, with some hitting.
Home 1 - 5 Away
Jeremiah: Now we're doin' it, now we're doin' it.
Hayabusa 3: (In Japanese) Shit...
Hayabusa 1: (In Japanese) Don't let them get away with that!
Hayabusa 3: (In Japanese) I won't.
Hayabusa 3 fired two missiles at Kevin. Kevin pulled away at the last second.
Kevin: You're gonna have to do better than that!
Hayabusa 1 activated his ECM pod again. The jamming area was being shown on the radar.
Kevin: Kestrels, get out of the jamming zone. Attack from outside their range.
The Kestrel 2 and 3 left the jamming zone but Hayabusa 1 was glued to Kevin's tail.
Kevin: Dammit! He's onto me!
Hayabusa 1 fired two missiles. Kevin tried to do the same maneuver as before but the enhanced homing of Hayabusa 1's missiles ensured that they connected.
Home 3 - 5 Away
Kevin: Shit! I should've used my flares.
Marcy: Don't worry Fujin. I got you!
Marcy fired her gun from afar, many of her bullets hitting the F-2A's tail.
Home 3 - 7 Away
Hayabusa 1 flew off, giving Kevin the opportunity to leave the jamming zone.
Kevin: Thanks, Twintails.
