If Akutagawa said he wasn't tired he would be lying. He's extremely exhausted, his mission has been going rocky since the moment he arrived. It's been at least two days and he hasn't been able to make any progress in the days he's been here. The mission he regrets taking on was to retrieve a wealthy man who had partnered with the mafia and behind their backs secretly, sold intel referring to the port mafia.  The man was sure an annoying one, always in public surrounded by people or high-level security that sure of hell would get him caught if he so tried to sneak in. It would be a lot easier to take out the man but that wasn't an option he needed to know what the man we selling and his promise he needed to keep to the weretiger.

He took a long sip of his drink eyeing his target and talking to a young woman. He seemed to take interest in her as he snaked a hand around her waist guiding her out of the main area. This is my chance.

He sat the wine glass down trying his best to navigate across the ballroom without raising suspicions. He made it through the crowd sliding through to follow his target.
He ended up in a long hallway as they turned the corners to where the establishment had held rooms for the people hosting. They were making small talk getting bold with their movements as they moved from the public. All Akutagawa needed to do was quickly snatch the businessman before the young woman could notice. His ability blended into the shadows his ability  curled  around the mans ankle before quickly retracting rashomon. The man quickly disappeared from the woman's side and was presented by the mafioso. "You're going to shut your mouth." rashomon slithering up his neck wrapping tight against the man's face to silence if he had tried to scream.

"And you're going to tell everything secret of the port mafia you've split." he glared hard putting fear into the man. He hadn't even gotten his name yet. Mori didn't give him it saying the man wasn't important enough for him to need to know. He had eyed the dark hallways for the janitor closet dragging the trembling man inside. He threw him against the wall removing his abilty from his mouth.

"What's your name.

"S-sir please, I could give you anything you desire if you just let me go!" He attempted to comprise.

"I can slit your neck open. Clean." He raised a tendril from his jacket indicating how sharp he can manipulate his ability. "I don't want, or need anything. Especially from you. The only thing I want from you is your name, and what Port mafia intel you have sold after partnering with us." He watched the man closely as he contemplated his next words carefully.
"H-Hachirō! The only information I had sold was where the weapon cargo was stationed! I swear that's all I've sold!"

"Well, Mister Hachirō. Are you sure? there was more to deal you and Mori had agreed upon than just giving you access to our weapons." He made sure to draw the black tendril closer to his neck making the man shriek.

"Y-yes the rest of the documents weren't sold yet—I couldn't find a buyer."  Hachirō tripped over his words eyeing the black cloth that was way to close towards his neck.

At least he didn't need to inform Mori that there was something very confidential he sold. That would only extend his stay here.  He'll call someone in to retrieve those documents. He'll most likely would be tasked to take care of the people who has their weaponry cargo. He sighed leaving his thoughts behind. "Where are the documents?"

"They're  in my office drawer—on the second floor."

That's quite careless.

"Is there any paperwork in there where you sold our intel too?"

"Yes."

Well that means I'm done with him, the recruits can handle him.

After  called the recruits   He was heading back into his hotel room he was so done for today and he still needed to report back to Mori that the mission succeeded.
His exhaustion was hitting him hard making him walk on autopilot. He snapped out of thought when he realized he pasted the Hotel's entrance. Akutagawa mentally cursed himself for being so off guard quickly turning around and heading inside the hotel he's been staying at for the past days.

He made his way to the elevators trying to reach his room as fast as possible to actually lay down for once without worrying about some damn mission. By the time he reached the hotel room he had plopped onto the bed. His eyes shutting closed as sleep overtook

I felt weird like I was in a different reality just floating where no one knew my existence but me. It was a strange feeling and very calming  "Where am I?" His thoughts were slowly beginning to wake him up. He slowly stirred out of sleep, blinking to wake himself up .

The area he was in was pitch black nothing surrounded him but black he walked around looking for anything and there was something, a little white area he walked closer to it. He saw something he couldn't quite see what he saw.  He was close enough to decipher what he was seeing.

He stopped.

He was confused

What is this dream?

The faces were blurred but the hair of them made it obvious who they were it was just one person that he didn't recognize the person was a small child. It had a mix of silver-colored and black ends

He didn't want to believe he was hugging the weretiger and he saw a small child smiling at them and talking. What was this?

This is a dream and he doesn't know why he would be dreaming about this.

The sudden buzz towards his ear snaps him out his sleep. His eyes are trying to adjust to the phone ringing in front of him, his eyes still blurry from him suddenly waking up. He read the name of the person calling his heart almost dropping. He fell asleep before reporting back.

"Sir?" he said wiping away the grogginess from his voice. "Ah, glad you picked up Akutagawa. Did you succeed in the mission yet?" there was a odd amount of cheer hinted in his voice. Not like there wasn't always, it just added to the creepiness that surround his boss. "Indeed I sent people to retrieve the documents and I'll get you a paper report when I get back as soon as possible." he calmly replied.

He heard Mori hummed, amused he guessed. "Nothing less I expect from you Akutagawa, but I had gotten a word that you need to be back as soon as possible the agency and we are teaming up again. Apologies for this sudden mission." Mori spoked. "No need for apologies, I'll catch the earliest flight back to Yokohama. Anything else sir?"

"No, you're free to go. Have a good night, Akutagawa." And their called ended there. He raked a few fingers through his hair, his head trailing back to the dream he had.

That damned tiger.
