Uh oh !

By the time they left the forest it was almost hitting midnight when the three of them were still walking trying to find a clothing shop open on the way to Akutagawa's apartment complex. Looking around Atsushi saw a small shop that displayed children's clothing like "Hey, I think I see a children 's shop open" Pointing towards it "Let's go then most shops are closed at this time" Akutagawa replies. They start heading towards the shop to get a closer look to check to see if it's still open.

They both got ready to cross the street looking left and right to see if any cars were coming before walking over to check the sign on the shop. "C'mon it's open for another hour, let's head inside and get him some clothes. I bet he's shivering in there" Opening the door to let Akutagawa in first before coming in right behind him a bell chiming to alert the people at the register that people are coming in.

"Welcome" A lady behind the register remarks before looking back down on her phone

Akutagawa walks into the section of kids clothing going through clothing rackets and selecting options for the boy to try on "Here take him to the dressing room while I figure out what clothes we should get him" Slowly taking his coat off wrapping Akatsuki to make sure he's fully covered and passing him over to Atsushi watching the two of them go inside one of the empty dressing rooms. He went back into picking up decent looking clothes. He chose black sweatpants with a matching sweatshirt top with black and red designs , a red t-shirt with jeans shorts and striped blue and white pajamas. After he picked out the clothes he headed to find underwear, socks and shoes.

He went to the shelf filled with socks and grabbed a pair of two blacks socks then moved down to pick of 2 pairs of kids underwear standing back to move towards the shoe rack to find a pair he saw a black pair of sneakers and a white high top that should be able to fit him he took all of the clothing and walked to the dressing room with Atsushi and their child.

"See if these outfits fit him" Akutagawa states, closing the door behind him Atsushi nods and takes the clothes to sit right next to him while he wakes up Akatsuki. Atsushi whispers contentment in his voice "Hey buddy it's time to wake up we have to do a few things" shaking him lightly to see his eyes slowly blink open trying to wake up a small little hum while the toddler rubbed one of his eyes still half asleep while atsushi sat him up and grabbed the clothes putting on the matching set and socks whispering sweet things and asking him if he was okay.

Akutagawa enjoyed the scene. He felt an enjoyable warmth in his chest thinking about how they would look as a family. Atsushi finally put on the sneakers tying the shoelaces to the best of his ability before picking him up "Hey Aku, I'm done we can pay for the clothing now" Atsushi utters out picking up the rest of the things. Akutagawa turned his head to look at atsushi with a wide shock face his pale skin turning bright red at hearing that nickname "What did you just call me?" He's at the loss for words.

"What? You don't like the nickname I can always still call you Akutagawa" questioning the response Akutagawa looks away and mumbles a simple no "It's find, let's go and pay it's getting quite late" unlocking the door and opening it waiting for Atsushi to come out. Struggling to carry the toddler in one hand and clothes in the other. Akutagawa takes the clothes from Atsushi's hands Atsushi nodding a quick thank you as they went to the check out to pay for the clothes.

They finally left the store to head to Akutagawa's apartment and they already had discussed that tomorrow would be the day they get all the child essentials they need before going forward with anything else.
