Chapter 30

After knowing about Giyu's tattoo removal...I couldn't find myself at peace. I know I should not make it a big deal.

But what can I do if I am that kind of woman who values and cherishes every little thing that makes us perfectly matched and alike?

No one asks but...every single tiny detail is crucial to me and my life.

"Well, his phobia becomes even worse after his coma. Before, he's just scared of real spiders and some insects with radiating arms. Now, he's afraid even only with the images of them." Philip explained.

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag.

There is really nothing bad if you ask questions for the better.

I've been sulking all day until we went back to the ship.

I'm glad I only have an image of a scorpio zodiac constellation tattoo on me. Not an actual image of it.

"Hi, mommy! How are you?" Adi asked in his very small and sweet voice, his image is on the screen of my laptop.

"I'm good, sweetheart. How's my unico hijo too?" I asked back.

"I missed you, mommy. So much..."

My face softened. "Aw...I missed you more." I sat on the chair to face him. "Come on, give mommy some flying kisses." I whispered softly.

He bit on his doughnut first before slapping his palms on his lips and threw me some invisible kisses.

"Sweet..." I commended.

"Do you have friends there, mommy? Are you not alone? Do you talk with someone there to alleviate your boredom? Is there someone who's making you laugh when I am not around you?" he asked concerned, as if a grown man.

Napangiti ako.

"Yeah...I have friends here, honey. Don't worry..." mahinahong sagot ko.

"Is he kind? And trustworthy?" he asked, my brows automatically lifted up. "Is he good to you?"

I said, I have friends. Not a friend.

I said no gender.

But he concluded it's a man.

My chest hurts.

He was...he was obviously asking for that one and only guy he knows aboard. If that guy is treating me right. If that guy is looking forward to meet his mother. To meet him.

I breathed a sigh.

Altitude Dreyse...mommy won't fail you.

What is ours is ours. And what is not meant for them will leave them.

Wearing only a black backless dress ending above my knees, dali-dali kong tinungo ang bridge ng barko upang makita si Giyu. As what Philip said, I'm not here for a job, I'm not here to work for the guests, I'm here to pursue the man who's not aware he has already a son.

I'm afraid to knock on Samsara's cabin. Last time I did that...I heard her moaning. Nakakadala at nakakahiya at the same time. Muntik ko na silang maabala. I'm glad my hearing ability is greater than my other senses.
