Part 33

Lee Empire. A well known name in the cities of New York. The elderly couple had gathered pennies and had come to reach that point.

Mr. Lee Baehyuk, a successful and self centered man. He had the wealth and the fame, the power which could make anyone fall onto his shoes. It could be said that he was completely stone hearted.

His wife, Mrs. Lee Jina was no better. Dipped in luxury and blinded by money, she was a full devotee of her husband.

They had an obedient son who was always ready to obey their orders. He was married to a daughter of some rich dealers on the wish of his parents. Despite being arranged, they deeply fell for each other and lived a happy life.

The irony of their lovely story was that it did not ended there. But rather it was the beginning.

It was all until their first child, the elderly couple's grandson was born. The day he was born was not an auspicious one. That's what the grandmother believes. Because along with the happiness of being the first child and the future heir of their endless power and wealth, he was also a curse, a jinx to their corrupted minds.

The little boy was born within seven months. His brain had a nerve disarrangement, resulting him to act differently than most of the kids of his age. It was not a disease, but some kind of disorder in the amygdala. He would react agressively without thinking. His mind was not able to do judgement in times, he was not able to decide what was wrong or right. He had aggressive behavior. If he wanted, he would have it by any means.

And that was just the beginning.

His parents were ashamed of him. They didn't wanted to call him their son because of his inabilities. When he was just seven, he was sent away to live with his grandparents. They disowned him so that things would be easier for them. His grandparents neither took care of him.

Even while having his parents, he was all alone from his childhood. He never got the love or care that he should get, and that was never his fault.

"What the hell do you mean you love her? She is just a small child. Have you gone nuts." Mr. Lee flared his nostrils, shooting daggers at the teen standing in front of him.

The boy had put his head down and didn't looked up. "I said what you just heard. I love her a lot..and you are no one to tell me what I should do Or whom I should hang out with."

His words were cold as if he wanted no more argument. This made Baehyuk's blood boil, he fisted his palm.

"How dare you little shit talk to me like that?! No manners at all! What can I even expect from a rascal like you?"

The boy neither moved nor spoke a word. He remained unbothered by his words. He was used to hearing nonsense.

"Speak something you dumpshit--" Baehyuk raised his hand in an attempt to hit the boy but before he could do so, he grasped his arm.

"Don't make this a scene grandpa, else your health will worsen."

Baehyuk's eyeballs popped out in disbelief from his words. Right then, Jina who was there the whole time decided to step into the scene.

"My..my! How dare you speak something like that to your grandfather! Shameful of you!!" She shouted, pointing at him.

The boy released and shook away his arm. "It's from you that I've learnt such attitude, grandma. You always say that it's from the elders that the child learn from, right?"
