After passing the security check, Timy took a deep breathe before walking out of the airport.
"It's been a while, Seoul"
She was wearing a white shirt tucked in her tight black jean, a black leather jacket with black boots.
And moreover, the light make up and the should length hair was making her look more stunning. The black glasses covered her beautiful hazel brown eyes. Her aura was beautiful yet dangerous.
She was carrying a blue luggage and a big black back pack was at her back. She searched for the driver who was waiting for her.
After finding him, he helped her with her stuff and they drove off.

Soon, they reached and the car stopped infront of an apartment complex.

She reached the floor and went out of the elevator.
With every step she was taking, she felt her heart beat rising faster and faster.
She was finally going to meet her mother after all these years.
She stood infront of the door and rang the doorbell. Few seconds passed, the door was opened by a lady. Her mother. Mrs. Han Misook.
She didn't waste any second before pulling her mother for a bone crushing hug.
"I missed you, eomma"
Misook hugged her back tightly. "I missed you too, sweetie. Finally I got to see you after these many years."
They parted away after a while.
Seeing her mother which seemed like a dream, her eyes welled up with tears.
"Why are you crying? silly." Her mother softly smiled and wiped her tears.
"You're so beautiful that I'm jealous." She smiled.
Her mother smiled back. "You've not changed at all."
She took the luggage and signalled her to come in. "Have you had your lunch?"
"Yeah. It was not as good as your homemade food but I managed to swallow it." Timy said. Misook chuckled. "Not bad." She said looking around the room.
"Anyways, I'm extremely tired, eomma." Timy whined.
"I understand. Now go, fresh up and take rest." Misook spoke. "That's your room" she pointed at a door.
The apartment was not too big nor small. All the rooms could be seen from the living room.
Timy flashed off into her new room with her stuff. She went to the bathroom and took a quick shower.
An oversized t-shirt and cotton shorts. She put on the clothes and thought of taking a nap but her mind wouldn't let her live peacefully.
Her mind was full of questions yet to answer. She rolled in the bed from here to there and buried her face in one of the pillows still trying to get rid of the unwanted thoughts.
.
Misook was scrolling through her phone while sitting in the couch in the living room when she got a phone call. Her face in no second, broke into a sweet smile after seeing the caller id.
"Hello darling."
"Hey babe. Has she arrived ?"
"Yeah. This noon."
"So when are you going to tell her?"
"Soon. By the way, what about your sons?"
"I've talked to them about that this morning. And don't worry, everything went smoothly."
"I just hope she understands us."
"Hope so. And tomorrow 7pm at Blue Iris. Bring her too."
"Arasso (ok)." With that, she hung the call and let out a heavy sigh.
"TIMY!"
Timy got out from her thoughts when her mother called her. Now that she had called me, I better clear my thoughts. I'm not going to stay still without knowing it anyway. She thought to herself. She wore her slippers and went to the living room.
She could feel an uneasy feeling seeing her mother's tensed facial expressions. She knew it's something big.
Misook patted the seat beside her. Walking to her, Timy sat beside her mother. "What happened, mom?"
Misook slowly held both her hands and squeezed it gently. "Sweetie, whatever I'm going to tell you, please try to understand me and the situation. And promise me, you won't be angry."
With the tension rising in the atmosphere, Timy could say it was a serious matter.
"I promise, eomma. I won't be angry." Timy said softly and smiled, calming her mother's racing heart.
Misook took a deep long breathe. "I-I have a boyfriend..." Timy's cheerful face turned into a blank one. "... and we have decided to get married this month"
"Boyfriend?" Timy questioned and inhale a large amount of oxygen to calm herself down.
Misook slowly nodded with hopeful eyes.
"Mom.. you can't just betray dad like that." Timy said calmly. "I got to know that you two got into a fight but that doesn't mean that you can just get yourself a boyfriend and marry him." Misook wanted to say something but Timy continued. "You and dad are not some teenagers that can fight over stupid matters and break up. You can't do that. Sort out the things between you two, if it's a misunderstanding then clear it".... "If there are some financial problems then tell me, I can help. Your daughter is grown up, mom. I can apply for a part time job or something." Timy patted her mother's shoulder who was listening to her daughter's advise with teary eyes. But that went unnoticed by Timy as she was distracted with her own words.
"I wished.." Misook muttered. "Wished this was some kind of teenage love. Wished it was that easy. Wished it was a misunderstanding.. but it isn't.."
"That's what I am saying, mom. Please sort out the things and get back together." Timy gently squeezed her mother's hand and celebrated her little victory that she was able to voiced out her thoughts and is determined to make her mother understand. Just a little more. Almost there. You've to end this, eomma. I won't step back before making you agree with me.
Misook closed her eyes and tried to hold herself back.
"I know it's between the husband and the wife but sorry, I'd to step in. Few weeks ago, I got to know that you and dad are not living together. I actually heard the conversation between aunt and uncle... I swear I wasn't eavesdropping.. I was just passing by. You and dad are acting like immature kids-"
Misook couldn't hold anymore and a tear dropped. "We got divorced."
Timy's eyes widen and her face went pale. "D-divorced?"
And that's when her hope and determination of uniting her parents shattered into pieces. Her dream to bring back the happy family.
