Soobin walked out of the conference room. He headed towards the practice room where he had to practice the groups latest choreography.

As he entered, the members looked at him. They all were anxious, yet they didn't show it. He decided to keep things from them. The usual these days.

Surprisingly, Soobin caught the choreography quite well and quickly, too. It made the members think that things went well at the meeting. Meanwhile, it was a long time since Soobin had stopped thinking about the meeting, the scandal with Arin, and all the problems in his life. Dance was his escape. Singing gave him a high. Their concerts gave him a high that he didn't know was possible for any human to feel. He loved how Moa's sang along loudly or how they aggressively shook their moa bongs.

He will get it all back. The trust of his fans. All of it.

Yeonjun and Taehyun shared knowing glances as they continued dancing their hearts out.

When Malibu teacher gave them a break after a tedious practice, the members whimped to the ground. Tired and breathless the members stayed still.

Kai broke the silence.

"Let's order garlic fried chicken tonight?"

The members agreed in an instance.

"How did the meeting with PD Nim go?" Beomgyu asked the question that layed heavy in the air.

Kai made eye contact with Yeonjun and Taehyun, as he gulped nervously.

Soobin wasn't taken aback by the question. He looked rather calm. It was unsettling to the members. Yet they masked their expressions pretty well.

"It went well." He replied in 3 words.

The members didn't push for an explanation as they trusted their leader. They went back to the dance practice as their break ended.

Another lie on the list of lies he had told.

Will the ordeal ever end?

Will the guilt ever leave?

Soobin drowned in the beats of music till his body ached. Hoping to forget the smile of Arin that would turn into a frown when it all comes clashing down.

He knew what it would end in. He just wasn't ready to go though it twice by telling his members what exactly his plan was.

Will they ever trust him again after this?

Arin was scrolling her Instagram feed. She had vocal lessons that day to polish her skills. Her life was getting back on track, not exactly after the scandal but after a long time of reduced activities. But it was because of the sudden influx of attention on her, her group due to the scandal.

She remembered the days she would pray for her life to get back to the busy routine that it was during her prime time. Because of the reduced popularity there was a constant fear of disbandment in her. And her company wasn't helpful atall.

She was sacred to leave back her idol life.  She had done it for so long and she knew no life beyond being an idol, her members, her hectic routine.

She was happy that it was coming back slowly. This time she and her members would try their best to retain the momentum. Not all was lost.

After the scandal she had thought that it was the end of everything, yet it was actually a beginning to something wonderful.

She felt butterflies in her stomach as she suddenly realised that Soobin liked her back.
