After mike leaves i smile at Alexis. Her hair is tied back in a ponytail and she's wearing a cute little blue summer dress. She produces some flowers from her behind her back. "These are for you" she says with a smile. I chuckle. I take them
And pop them by the bed. I turn back to her and feel the slap catch my face. "That's for scaring me" she says. She then kisses me her lips taste of blueberries. "That's for being ok" she says. I chuckle. I wrap my arms around her and pull her onto the hospital bed. She smiles at me. "You scared me" she says. I frown at her and hug her. "I'm so fucking sorry" I say. She wraps her arms around me. "It's ok" she says. She kisses my forehead. "But when your cleared to leave we're taking you to therapy" she says. I nod my head.
"Yes, yes we are" I say. She giggles and hugs me. "God I didn't know what I was gonna do without you" she says. I feel my cheeks go red and I smile. "I'm serious ref you've become a huge part of my life in the last 2 months" she says. I smile at her and kiss her forehead. "I realised I fucked up, I didn't think I could live a life without you but I let Rachel play her stupid Fucking game" I say. Alexis kisses me. "Don't worry I would've in that moment left you if the roles where reversed" she says. I pull her close. "Hospital food sucks by the way" I say. She giggles and kisses my cheek. "Well I don't think they care to much about food quality when there saving lives" she says. I weigh it up for a second. "Yeah your probably right" I say. She giggles and rests her head on my chest. "Promise you'll never do this again" she says. I look down into her eyes. "I promise" I say. She smiles. "Good" she says.
We spend most of the day lying in the hospital bed. "So when are they discharging you?" Alexis asks me. I smile at her. "I think they said Monday, so 2 or so days so long as there isn't a complication" I say. She smiles at me and then giggles. "Wanna stay round my place for a bit?" She says. I smile at her. "Sure if you want" I say. She smiles. "I'll get mike to move your car and I'll grab some of your clothes and stuff" she says with a smile. I nod my head. I kiss her cheek and the look out the window. "Babe how are you getting home?" I ask her noticing how dark it is outside. "Oh I'll get a taxi" she says.
