iris' first year at college had gone by so fast. a lot of changes had been made, resulting in bad breakups, torn friendships, and the loss of a figure in her life. getting through the final quarter of her first year was a wreckage having to be apart from her family through everything, having to miss susannah's funeral and being there for her friends, that included her ex-boyfriend. she'd be entering her second year of college with high hopes of a bright change, but that plan failed when she realized conrad transferred to stanford, his dream school.
