Welcome home Ia

After a few days of resting in the hospital, I was able to leave for home with my baby girl. Ia was laid down in her crib, that was located next to me and lens bed. Her bedroom wasn't done yet, Len wanted it perfect for her. He was working over time to pay for bills, and to buy things for our baby. He wouldn't let me get a job till Ia was at least a year old. Len thinks I will hurt myself if I did anything other than hold our baby, and take care her and myself. Ia started to cry, I quickly rolled off my bed to go to her aid.

"Awe what's wrong Ia?" I asked her, lifting her into my arms. She laid against my chest, easing her whining to soft sighs.

"She wanted your love like I did." Len had spoke behind me. He was leaning against the doorframe, his smile was warm.

"Oh shush Len." I tease him, rubbing Ia's back. She was awake, blinking and looking around her surroundings. Looking at her, I couldn't help but smile. A pair of arms slipped around my waist, Len was hugging me from behind me.

"You know, my crazy family is coming to see her today?" Len whispered, resting his head on my shoulder. He looked at Ia, once he reached over and kissed her forehead. Ia just looked at him, blinking her light blue eyes.

~time skipped~

"Oh my gosh, Miku!" Rin had squealed as she entered our apartment door. "She so cute, can I have her?"

"Hell to the no." Len had shoved his sister away from me. I was holding Ia feeding her. His mother was sitting next To me, admiring her granddaughter.

"Son, I don't care if your not living in my house anymore but you will not use that language around my grand baby." Rinto gave His son a death glare. Len had shrugged and sighed.

"Alright."

"Miku can I hold her?" Lenka had asked me, I nodded and carefully handed Ia to her. She started to tear up.

"Why are you crying mom?" Rin looked at her, worried.

"I didn't think I would ever have grand kids." Lenka cried. She was playing with one of Ia's hands, letting her hold her finger.

"Oh Mom, you knew me and Miku were gonna have kids." Len had smiled, then looking at Rin. "Well for my sister I'm not sure..." He laughed.

"Ah ha ah ha. Wow Len, how original." Rin had glared at him. "I have you know, I'm dating someone. So you can shut up now."

"Really? Who?" I asked, combing my hair and doing a lose side braid with my hair.

"Kaito. He's cute and ten times more of a man than you Len." She had stuck her tongue out.

"Yea he's so manly." Len rolled his eyes.

The two twins had bickered off and on the while afternoon. Rinto at a certain point had ordered the two to go make dinner for everyone. They sighed and trailed off.

"Geez Miku, I'm sorry if they upset tend you." Rinto had sighed, sitting next to Lenka. He made a funny smile at her, Ia laughed.

"It's fine, I'm perfectly fine with those two."

Lenka and Rinto had held Ia most of the time when they were over. Rin got to hold her the least. I'm sure she's afraid to hold her, I would be too if she wasn't my kid.

Soon after dinner, his family had paid their farewells. Once they left our apartment had fallen silent again. Leaving me laying down on the couch, Ia sleeping on my chest. She's always the happiest when she's around me.

"You know she's always the happier around you?" Len spoke. As if he read my mind...

"Yea, I've noticed." I smiled, combing my fingers lightly through her hair tuffs. Len had kneeled down, looking at her, then back at me.

"It must be some connection that mothers and their children share. I was the Same with my mom." He smiled, as he intertwined his fingers with mine.

"Oh really?" I asked.

"Yea. I bet you would be like that too, if your mother was around too.." Len trailed off. Silence had fallen over us. Hearing the soft snoring of Ia. "If she keeps sleeping like this all the time, she's gonna get as lazy as Rin?"

"Oh Len, shut up."

He smiled, and kept looking at her. "You know, I wouldn't mind her being lazy when she's older. I wouldn't want her to do anything but be as beautiful as her mother."
