"BIG NEWS!"
Loud bells resonated throughout the town of Magnolia, startling the inhabitants. The guild doors slammed open and inside rushed two members.
"Bells?" Wendy and Carla spoke in sync, cocking their head in confusion.
Gray crossed his arms over his toned chest. "Gildarts returned?" he muttered. Next to him stood Elfman, who was grinning with his fists up in the air as he waited in anticipation.
On the other hand, Natsu was watching the town from the balcony. He smiled at his flying companion. "Gildarts is back! Let's go, Happy!"
While the Fairies happily awaited his arrival, Lucy seemed confused and started questioning who Gildarts might be. "I've never met anyone by that name. Who is it?"
Mirajane came to a halt beside Lucy, while Erza stood on the other side. "He's the strongest wizard in Fairy Tail!" Mirajane said excitedly.
Erza hummed thoughtfully and crossed her arms over her armored chest. "Although, I believe Y/n is more powerful," she added. "But, of course, I could be mistaken. She's been away for a long time."
Lucy flinched when hearing Erza call someone strong. "Huh?! Y-you mean he's even stronger than you, Erza?!"
Erza laughed and patted Lucy on the shoulder. "I don't even begin to compare to him." Lucy gulped and gently moved Erza's hand off her shoulder. "Just how dangerous are these guys..." she muttered.
Carla looked away from the three girls. "Nice and all, but why all this partying?"
"It's just like a festival, Carla!" Wendy said.
A smile appeared on Mirajane's face as she focused on Wendy and her exceed. "It's expected for them to be happy. It's been three years since Gildarts left. How long has Y/n been away? Was it five years?"
"Starting today, Y/n has been away for five years for a hundred years quest," Erza confirmed. Lucy slapped her hands on her cheeks.
"HUNDRED YEARS?! That's a crazy lot! So, that means nobody has accomplished that quest for a century?" Lucy questioned, only for it to be confirmed once again.
Houses began to move to the side and then up to reveal a path with arrows pointing to the guild. It was the infamous 'Magnolia's Gildarts Shift'.
Lucy screamed when seeing Magnolia's state. Erza kindly started explaining. "Gildarts uses 'Crush' magic. Everything he touches gets obliterated."
Mirajane laughed with the redhead. "If he's not paying attention, he'll accidentally walk into houses and destroy them."
"How dumb is this guy?!" the blonde shrieked.
The doors opened, and a tall silhouette stood at the entrance. Gildarts frowned before sighing in annoyance. "Oh no, not again."
"Gildarts! FIGHT ME!" Natsu's voice resonated from upstairs.
The ginger walked toward Mirajane and looked down at the woman in confusion. "Excuse me, miss. If I'm not mistaken, there used to be a guild called Fairy Tail around here."
The beauty chuckled at the man. "It's right here, and I'm Mirajane." she pointed at herself.
Gildarts scrunched his face. "Mira? OH! You sure have changed!" he exclaimed in happiness. After sharing small talk with everyone and the master, Gildarts left the guild by making a hole in the wall.
Natsu copied Gildarts and made another hole in the wall.
