"ZOEY! Tell us where Y/n is! Weren't you supposed to look out for her?!"

"I ALREADY TOLD YOU SHE LEFT ON HER OWN, OKAY?! She's fifteen now, get it through your skull! I'm getting older, bro. I can't keep looking out for her."

Levy pondered and rubbed her chin. "Why did Y/n leave you? You two are always together."

Zoey shrugged and reclined in her chair. "I don't know. I don't want to get scolded. You know how Y/n reacts when someone asks too many questions," she defended herself. "Tch, scolded by a fifteen-year-old, how ridiculous..."

"Even though it's strange that she left, let's trust her judgment on the matter," Gray added. "As Zoey said, she's fifteen now."

"That's still young, Gray. Y/n needs to be under supervision." Erza spoke.

The curtains on the stage moved, revealing Makarov, Gildarts, and Mirajane. The audience began to cheer for Makarov to announce the news, which many of them already knew.

Makarov cleared his throat and spoke, "As per Fairy Tail's time-honoured tradition, it is now time for me to announce the entrants for the S-Class wizard promotion trial!"

Lucy was surprised and exclaimed, "S-Class wizard promotion trial?!"

Gildarts interrupted by saying, "Quiet, everyone. Our master hasn't finished speaking yet."

Makarov's stern expression intimidated the members as he announced this year's trial location: Tenrou Island, the guild's sacred ground.

"I have evaluated your strengths, hearts, and spirits over the past year," he continued, "and there will be eight participants in this year's trial."

 Makarov then revealed the eight participants: Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Elfman, Cana, Freed, Levy, and Mest. After the rules explanation, the participants chose their partners.

TIMESKIP — FOUR MONTHS LATER

Gentle footsteps marched toward the bankrupt guild hall's doors. A tall, cloaked figure opened the guild doors and walked inside.

Caught on guard because of their immense magic power, Macao and Wakaba stopped the person by standing in the way and glared.

Wakaba's voice boomed, "Who are you?!"

The cloaked figure strode through the group, making their way to the bar without glancing at anyone. The two were forced out of the person's way by a powerful magical force.

"I'm not here to fight. I'm just looking for Fairy Tail," the person spoke. "I've been told I can find it here?"

It was a woman speaking.

Jet and Droy quickly stepped away from the bar and cautiously backed away from the cloaked figure. They had no intention of getting hurt.

Jet gritted his teeth in frustration, realizing that he was powerless in this situation. "You're in Fairy Tail now! If you came here to mock us, then leave immediately!"

The hooded stranger turned to face the small gathering and scowled.

"So this is Fairy Tail. What happened here? I heard you went bankrupt and got moved down here. Where are all the other members?" she asked.

Droy folded his arms and sneered. "Why do you care? Just leave us alone!"

As the woman stood up from her seat, she gracefully removed her cloak, revealing a tall and curvy figure. Her long dark locks and captivating e/c eyes drew everyone's attention. She wore loose-fitting pants and a shirt that left her black guild mark visible on her upper arm.

"Well, maybe because I'm part of this guild, idiot."
