Alejandro's POV

I let go of [Y/N]'s wrist, and walked beside Noah to listen to what he had to say.

Honestly, I could care less about what he had to say. I just need to know what that [Y/N] girl thinks she's doing.

I know exactly how to get what I want. I'm charming, handsome, friendly, and know just what to say to make any girl feel special.

Any girl would think I'm genuinely nice and kind, but wouldn't even catch onto how it was all an act. I'm a master of using my looks and charm to my advantage, but she doesn't seem to be falling for it.

I knew she noticed something off while I was analyzing the members of the other teams, when I saw how she looked at me and her facial expression changed for the slightest moment and she decided to claim that she was worried about Noah and Owen and we should run off to check on them.

But, [Y/N], you don't know what you're in for.

I wasn't paying attention to a word Noah was saying, instead, just planning my next move to manipulate this situation in my favor.

I don't care who I'm manipulating, as long as I get what I want.

I could build [Y/N]'s trust with innocent gestures, or better, I could get her small gifts and do favors for her.

I got an adrenaline rush, simply from thinking of ways to put my plan into action. This was really too easy.

In the middle of Noah yapping on about God knows what, I pretended to suddenly look past him and notice [Y/N] being behind the group and walking all alone. She was already looking at me, so this worked out in my favor anyway.

I approached her to act like Mr. Congeniality, and I knew it was gonna be a challenge at first from the moment she opened her mouth.

"What do you want?", she groaned.

"Hey, easy now. I just wanted to check on you, and why Ms. Pretty-face is walking all alone."

I mean, at least when I compliment her I mean it. It's not like she is the prettiest girl in the world, but her eyes really sparkle... just like a diamond necklace on display in a jewelry shop, and her-...

God, I mean... and her stupid attitude towards me has got to be fixed. I mean, who does she think she is?

"Well, who am I meant to walk with anyway?", [Y/N]  responded.

I smirked, "I'm right here. We are teammates after all, right?"

She stopped for a second to think, and shortly carried on walking.

"Oh, yeah. I guess you are right. We are teammates anyway..."

Great. Now, to get her to warm up to me.

"So, tell me about yourself.", I said, knowing I don't really care, and I can just use this to think about more things to get her on my side.

As I listened to her talk, I looked into her eyes, and I noticed something.

[Y/N]'s beauty was ethereal, and it was almost like there was a halo around her head. I can't even lie to myself, [Y/N] really is beautiful. I felt blood rushing to my face.

"Alejandro? Hello? I'm asking you something.", [Y/N] said.

Just as quickly as I turned into this realization, I snapped out of it.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, sorry, I didn't hear you. What were you saying?", I said.

"I was just asking you a question back... like uh, what's your favorite color?", [Y/N] said awkwardly, as if she felt embarrassed to even repeat herself.
