You and your best friend, [BSF/N], are two students who are in DESPERATE need of money.
You've always been considered extremely beautiful to most people, and it wasn't uncommon for people to be crushing on you. You were always well off, your family being able to buy you luxury brands, even on a weekly basis.

Your best friend is EXTREMELY smart, maybe that's even an understatement... They'd also get graded beyond A, even without studying. They weren't as well off as you were, but still could make do.

You were your family's prized possession, them showing you off any chance they get. However, that all came crashing down when you told them you wanted to go against the career path they wanted you to go through.

After their outburst, lecturing you for even suggesting that idea, they'd made the decision to kick you out, until "you decide to make a smart decision for once."

"Dude... what are we gonna do?", you say to [BSF/N]

[BSF/N] got into Stanford, their dream school. However, they couldn't afford to go.

"[Y/N], I know this sounds crazy... but let's apply to Total Drama Island.", they said, grinning while suggesting it to you.

"Huh? Isn't that some scary ass barely legal reality show?", you said. [BSF/N] was a craaaazy fan for TDI, but you barely knew anything about it.

"Let's just do it. The prize is a million dollars! What's there to lose?"

You thought about it, and they were right. You both signed up for TDI, but you really didn't expect to get in.

Until one day, your phone was buzzing with a call at around 2:32 AM. You were sleeping next to [BSF/N] in their room and it woke the both of you up.

"Congratulations, Y/N. You've made it onto the cast of Total Drama! Pack your stuff, because by the end of the week, you're gonna be expected to go! Bye!", said the caller before hanging up the phone.

"OOOOHHHHH... MYY..... GOD [Y/N]!", said your best friend.

"Huh?", you said, half-asleep, not even knowing what's happened.

"[Y/N]. You've. Made. It. Onto. Total. Drama.", they said, jumping up and down. "You have to pack, like, right now. Come on!"
