The Luxe Salon was filled with women both young and old seated in the waiting area eager to get their hair done. The staff was working hard on clients who were seated in their salon chairs.
Standing in the middle of the salon was the owner Beyoncé. Proud that her salon was running successfully after opening just a year ago.
" Boss lady, what are you over there thinking about ?"
Beyonce looked to the left seeing her long-time employee Zoie looking at her.
" Oh, nothing." Beyonce replied.
" Mhm tell me." Zoie said as he curled his client's hair.
" I was just thinking about how well the salon is doing. You all work y'all butts off and I appreciate all of you." Beyonce replied.
" Awww we love you, boss lady." Zoie replied causing his other co-workers to nod their heads in agreement.
" Boss your boo Brandon is on Tv." Megan an employee said getting Beyonce's attention.
Beyonce reverted her eyes to the flat screen that hung on the wall in the waiting area. A client was kind enough to pick up the remote and turn the volume up.
Brandon was seated with NFL News anchor Patrick Claybon discussing his upbringing and what it's been like playing for the Miami Dolphins.
Seeing Brandon on TV made Beyoncé smile. The two met each other when they were nineteen at The University Of Miami. Brandon always talked about how he wanted to make it to the NFL and to see him living out his dream was amazing.
" Now Brandon I have a question for you. Who motivates you the most ?" Patrick asked.
" Uh, that would be my fiancé Beyoncé. She pushes me to be the best version of myself both on and off the field." Brandon replied.
A few clients and staff members looked at Beyoncé who began to blush.
" Y'all cute or whatever." Zoie smiled.
" Boss if Brandon has a friend who is single send him my way." Jayde an employee said.
" Girl what? What happened to that man you met at Starbucks last week ?" Megan questioned.
" Oh, I don't think y'all ready for the tea." Jayde responded.
" Yes, we are spill it honey !" Zoie yelled with excitement.
