Brandon walked into his bedroom he shared with his fiancé holding on tightly to a bouquet of roses. He hoped that the things he bought would put a smile on her face.

He heard the sound of the shower running in the bathroom so he decided to sit on the foot of the bed and patiently wait for Beyoncé to come out.

After a few moments, he heard the shower turn off. The bathroom door opened revealing Beyoncé with her hair in a messy bun and a towel wrapped around her bare body.

Beyoncé was startled to see Brandon sitting at the foot of the bed, " Brandon when did you get here ?"

" A few minutes ago look I got you some roses." Brandon smiled.

Beyonce rolled her eyes as she walked over to their walk in closet. " I don't have time for this Brandon. I need to get ready and head to the airport."

" Okay but look baby I'm sorry about what happened last night that shit was very inconsiderate of me."

" You got that right." Beyonce replied as she picked out an outfit to wear.

" So who's gonna take over the salon while you're gone ?" Brandon asked.

" You forgot Kelly is co-owner. I've already called her and filled her in on what's going on." Beyonce said referring to one of her best friends.

" Are you gonna take Bruno with you ?" Brandon asked.

" Yeah." Beyonce replied.

" Good cause he be doing the most sometimes." Brandon said.

Beyonce turned around and glared at him before grabbing a pair of denim jeans to put on.

" I'm finna go chill downstairs til you get ready." Brandon said standing up.

" I plan on taking an Uber Brandon." Beyonce said.

" What ? No I'm here I'll take you." Brandon argued.

"Fine." Beyonce sighed. She was not in the mood to go back and forth with him.

He got up from the bed and walked out of the room. After making his way downstairs he made his way into the kitchen where he placed the bouquet of roses into a vase.

He made his way into the living room and sat on the couch kicking his feet up on the coffee table. He grabbed the TV remote that was next to him and pressed the power button. He flipped through channels before stopping on SportsCenter.

Bruno jumped on the couch next to him. Brandon attempted to pet him which caused Bruno to growl.

" Okay, I'll try again another time." Brandon said as he moved his hand.

After a few moments, Beyonce made her way downstairs with her luggage and dog carrier. She placed Bruno inside of the dog carrier as Brandon loaded her luggage into his Chevrolet Tahoe.

She walked out of the house with Bruno and placed him in the back seat of the SUV. She opened the passenger door and got inside putting on her seat belt.

Brandon closed the trunk of his SUV and got in on the driver's side. He put on his seatbelt and started the ignition. He looked over at Beyoncé and spoke, "Ready ?"

"Ready." Beyonce said.

Beyoncé sat in the back seat of her Uber driver's car admiring the scenery as she looked out the window. Seeing familiar stores and restaurants made her thrilled to be back home. She noticed an old wooden blue and white sign that said Welcome To Tappahannock.
