Beyonce enjoyed a bowl of Frosted Flakes as she sat in the living room of her home watching the local news.

As she reached for the TV remote to turn up the volume there was a knock at the front door.

She got up from her seat on the couch and headed to the front door. She looked through the peephole seeing that it was her best friend Kelly. She unlocked the door and opened it.

" Good morning." Kelly said holding onto a large cup of coffee from Starbucks.

" Good morning. What are you doing here ?" Beyonce asked.

" Well I was on my to the salon and I thought about you. I just wanted to come by and see how you were holding up." Kelly explained. " I went by Starbucks and got you your favorite drink." She continued.

" Iced Caramel Macchiato ?" Beyonce asked causing Kelly to nod as she handed her the drink.

" Thank you so much, Kel c'mon in." Beyonce said as she stepped aside allowing Kelly to walk in.

Kelly took a seat on the couch and watched as her best friend closed the front door.

" I'm glad you decided to stop by there's something I need to talk to you about."

" Okay."

Beyonce took a seat next to Kelly. "I'm  moving back to Tappahannock for good."

" What? Really ?"

" Yeah. I've thought long and hard about it." Beyoncé said placing her drink and half-eaten bowl of cereal on the coffee table.

" Brandon was the reason I stayed out here for as long as I did. And now that we're no longer together I think it's best if I leave. By moving back home I can be more attentive to my grandmother and her needs."

" You don't think she'd move out here ?" Kelly asked.

" Nope because she just paid off her house two years ago." Beyoncé explained.

" Hm. Well, I hate that you're leaving but I know you have to do what's best for you and Grandma Evelyn."

" Thanks for understanding Kel. You know the salon is yours of course because of our binding contract. I know that you will do a great job running the place."

" Aw, thanks Bey. I'm really gonna miss you."

" I'm gonna miss you too."

The two of them hugged each other before separating.

" Now I just have to break the news to Zoie, Jayde, and Megan." Beyonce said.

" You wanna ride with me to the salon? All of them will be there in the next thirty minutes." Kelly asked.

" No, I don't wanna keep you waiting. It's gonna take me forever to get dressed. I'll just drive my car and meet you there." Beyonce said.

" Okay." Kelly said getting up from her spot on the couch. " Well, I'll see you in a little while."

" Okay." Beyonce said. She got up from the couch and followed Kelly to the front door. She opened it and watched as her best friend walked out before closing it.
