Beyonce stood in her childhood bedroom holding her iPhone against her ear. She was trying to get in touch with Brandon. She hadn't heard from him since he dropped her off at the airport.

" Yo this is Brandon you know what to do leave a message and I promise I'll get back to ya."

Beyonce rolled her eyes at his voicemail message before speaking , " Hey baby it's me I was just calling to check on you. I haven't heard from you in two days. Call me as soon as you get this message I love you...bye."

She ended the call before letting out a loud sigh. She heard her grandmother coughing downstairs which quickly caught her attention.

She walked out of her bedroom and made her way downstairs. She entered the living room where her grandmother was seated on the couch with Bruno lying next to her.

" Hey are you alright ?" Beyonce asked.

Evelyn nodded , " Can you bring me a bottle of water please ?"

"Yeah." Beyoncé replied. She made her way into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. She grabbed a water bottle that was on the top shelf. As she closed the refrigerator there was a knock at the front door.

She walked back into the living room and handed her grandma the bottled water.

" Thank you dear." Evelyn said as she unscrewed the cap off of the water bottle.

" You're welcome." Beyonce said. She made her way to the front door and looked through the peephole seeing Chris and a little girl who resembled him.

She unlocked the door and opened it.

" Hey how are you ?" Chris asked.

" Hey I'm doing alright how are you ?" Beyonce asked.

" I'm good." Chris said.

" Daddy who is this lady ?" Londyn asked in a slight whisper as she looked at her father.

" This is Ms.Evelyn's granddaughter Beyoncé." Chris explained.

" Oh okay." Londyn nodded." Hi, Ms. Beyoncé my name is Londyn it's nice to meet you."

" It's nice to meet you too. I like your hair." Beyonce replied.

" Thank you my daddy did it for me this morning before I went to school." Londyn said. Her hair was styled into two ponytails.

" Well, he did a good job." Beyonce said before glancing over at Chris.

" Y'all come on in." Beyonce said. She stepped aside allowing Chris and his daughter to come inside.

" Ms.Evelynnn !" Londyn cheered with excitement as she ran over to her.

" Oh there's my favorite girl c'mere !" Evelyn asked as she pulled the eight-year-old into her embrace. 

" I have a surprise for you." Londyn cheered.

" And what's that ?" Evelyn asked.

" I made a one hundred on my spelling test today !" Londyn cheered.

" Way to go Londyn ! I am so proud of you." Evelyn said.

" Thank you I told my daddy you would be." Londyn said looking over at her dad who smiled.

She glanced over at the dog that sat next to Evelyn and spoke. " Ms.Evelyn you have a dog now ?"

" Oh no sweetie Bruno here is Beyoncé's dog." Evelyn explained.

" Ohh okay. Can I pet him, Ms.Beyonce ?" Londyn asked.

" Sure." Beyonce nodded.

Londyn walked over to Bruno and began petting him which caused him to lick her. " I think he likes me." She giggled before talking to him.
