Noahs Perspective
3rd person★
BRRP! BEEP! an alarm erupted through a young, teen boys room. A groan escaped from his mouth as he tossed his phone around, quickly tapping at the 'Stop' button on his phone alarm,
"Noah, wake up! You'll be late for school, you don't wanna miss the second week do you?" A feminine voice shouted, the voice echoing through the house. Noah—as said name—slowly sat up, looking like an absolute mess. The boy appeared like a failed rats nest, his hair dancing all over the place. He groaned, rubbing his eyes open as he slouched off his bed, wobbling slightly before steadying himself. He stretched before hobbling over to his closet, scratching his neck as he did so. He grabbed a white long sleeve, slipping that on, then a blue-ish teal t-shirt, putting that over the long sleeve, then he grabbed a red vest, slipping that on as-well. Why does one need so many layers on at a time? A question waiting to be answered. He then slid into some baggy shorts and slipped his socks on. Noah proceeded to grab a brush, ripping through his rats nest hair quite aggressively. He placed the brush down when he finished fixing his monstrous hair, scurrying out of his room and down the stairs,
"Noah! Hurry up—" The voice was suddenly cut off by the uh, partially awake Noah,
"Mom, Mom I'm right here and I'm ready," He muttered, sliding across the wooden floor and over to his shoes. He picked up his shoes, putting them on. Noah's mom turned around on her heel, raising her brow and placing a hand on her hip,
"Noah dear, you look terrible," She chuckled teasingly,
"Wow Ma, thanks for 'boosting my self esteem'," He bleated, turning to look at his mom. He reached for his backpack, hanging on a coat rack. His hand missed a couple times, due to the fact he was keeping eye contact with his mother and also trying to grab his bag. He finally succeeded, tossing his backpack over his shoulder,
"Sweetie, do you want me to make you some breakfast," Noah's mom pleaded, tilting her head to the side slightly,
"I'm fine, Mom, breakfast isn't even as important as everyone says it is," He noted with a shrug before waving to his mom and creaking the door open, stepping outside and shutting the door behind him. He huffed, frog blinking before he began to walk to school.. . ★ . .
Noah entered the high school, his eyes darting around as chatter and loud thuds were sounding through the hallways. Kids were throwing milk at each other, making out, and a lot of,, normal things for this school specifically. He strolled through the noisy and chaotic halls, observing each kid briefly. As he was looking around and dodging ignorant goons, his eyes landed on one, Gap toothed and chatty teen, Cody Anderson. Christ did that kid really get on Noah's nerves. Cody was childish, a major show off, try hard, and way too flirty with girls who literally show zero interest in him! I mean, he wont get his eyes of of Gwen, that goth girl. She was decent to Noah, she wasn't a total idiot like Cody, most definitely she was way out of his league, the kid didn't stand a chance. Noah must've been thinking to long, as well as staring because soon enough he blinked out of his thoughts, Cody was looking back at him with a confused yet golden retriever look. Noah grunted and continued sauntering the halls, following where ever his legs dragged him, obviously ending up at the library.
Noah was simply relaxing in the quiet environment, reading each page of his book carefully. His head perked up once he heard a door open slowly, it was loud compared to the peaceful silence of the library room. Noah listened as whispers and mutters quietly swarmed around from two people who had entered the library. 'Great, the only room with some form of peace and quiet is being raided,' Noah thought to himself, slowly closing his book before hearing a loud thud and some books fall. He groaned, getting up from his seat and approaching the noise from where the scene had come from. He turned the shelf corner, seeing the one and only Cody Anderson picking up some books and shoving them back into the spots they belonged on the shelf. Noah glanced over, seeing a purple haired girl. Oh right, Sierra. The Cody fangirl whom was obsessed with him. Noah groaned, looking at the two before coming into full view and crossing his arms at them,
"What the hell did you small brained shitheads do," He cooed, looking back n' forth at them. Cody turned his head to Noah as he slid the last book in its slot,
"Oh well, I'm simply just trying to find somewhere that isn't around Sierra! But she just won't stop following me," He whisper yelled, giving Sierra a nasty side eye. Noah turned to the purple haired girl, a nervous yet needy smile on her face,
"Sierra, Honey, I'd like to let you know your obsession for Cody may be slightly over the top, but I think it might be time you realize he isn't into you so if you could just scurry along now, your hair is blinding this library," Noah did a simple shoo motion with his hand, watching as Sierra was about to protest back, but instead she turned around and left. Noah scoffed sassily as she walked out the library door and into the hallway. He then turned his attention back to Cody and glared at him,
"Now what in the world happened to make you crash into a shelf and have books avalanche down onto you," Noah spat out, his eyes piercing throughs Cody's,
"Well,, Sierra was approaching to close to me and I wasn't aware there was a shelf behind me so I was backing up and crashed into the shelf and yea," He quickly sorted together, motioning things with his hands a lot,
"Right," Noah muttered before the blaring sounds of the school bell sounded into the room. He glanced at Cody before pushing him out of the way and making his way to his class.. . ★ . .
Noah slumped down into his chair, placing his bag right beside him. He glared as he saw Cody rush into the room and sit down. One thing that was forgotten to be mentioned is that Noah has every class with Cody. And in every class, they sit next to each other. Noah glanced at Cody before turning his attention over to the teacher who was loud and severely obnoxious,
"Alrighty, Kiddies! For the second week of school I'd like to assign a project, a project for socializing and getting to know each other. This is very much obviously partner work," She gleed happily, turning her head to Noah who seemed to have something to say,
"And no, you cannot work alone," She smiled, quickly silencing Noah,
"I'm assigning partners," She started, "Tyler and Alejandro, Gwen and Courtney, Lindsay and Heather, Harold and Ezekiel, Leshawna and Bridgette, Cody and Noah, Owen and DJ, Katie and Sadie, and lastly, Trent and Duncan! I'll let you all sort out on how your gonna do this project. The project will be about something you and your partner both share an interest in," Noah's mouth went agape, him and Cody? Sharing something in common? Impossible. Theres no way he is gonna work with—
"Noah! We're partners! We can work at my house, my parents are on a business trip, sound good?" Cody smiled warmly at Noah, causing the other to turn his head. Noah huffed, narrowing his eyes,
"Sounds great," he crooned, crossing his arms. Now isn't this just excellent, Noah is gonna have a long night with the Gap Toothed Chatterbox.— ★
