Noahs Perspective
3rd person

Noah was walking down the sidewalk, school ended just about 2 hours ago and now he was on his way over to Cody's house for the project. He was quite surprised that Cody only lived a couple houses down, so it wasn't a walk that was long enough to make your legs tremble and go numb. As he was walking, he was kinda just thinking of the book he had been reading, it was interesting to him. Well of course, He's a bookworm, its obviously gonna be interesting to him.
Noah had been walking for about 10 minutes before finally reaching Cody's house. The kids house was big, not mansion like but it was big. The house made it obvious that Cody's parents were wealthy. Noah scurried up to his door, knocking on it gently twice. He stood there, hands in his jacket pockets. It was cold out and Noah's skin was tinting red. He huffed, that cold winter smoke huffing out as well. His head perked up as he heard the door click and someone open it. It was Cody. He opened the door, a welcoming smile on his face. Cody was wearing a soft, comforting orange sweater and a white turtle neck underneath,
"Hi, Noah," He greeted happily, shifting over to the side to let Noah in. Noah glanced at him and nodded before stepping inside, Cody closing the door behind him. Noah looked around the clean house. He then turned and looked at Cody, his fingers fidgeting around in his pockets,
"Are we gonna work on his project or what," he emphasized, narrowing his eyes slightly. Cody nodded quickly with a chuckle,
"Uh yea! I'll uh— Bring you to my room," Cody scoffed nervously, his eyes sparkling at Noah as he turned around and began hobbling towards his staircase, leading them both to his room.
Cody opened his door, letting Noah in first. He then closed the door behind them as he entered, waddling over to his bed and plopping himself down onto it. Noah looked around the clean room, scented like Cody. It was comforting overall. Not in.. a weird way of course! Totally. Cody shifted himself on his bed, bringing his knees up to his chest and he patted the empty spot next to him for Noah to sit. Noah frog blinked at him before approaching the bed and sitting down next to him. He continued looking around before fixating his gaze onto Cody,
"I don't think we have anything in common," He spat out with no hesitance. Cody giggled before staring at Noah with a warm, comforting gaze and a soft smile that slightly showed his tooth gap,
"I mean, everyone has to have something in common. Like the game Spot it! It takes a minute to realize the similarities with them," Cody compared, seeming proud of his comparison,
"Not for me. Its quite literally very easy to find the similarity," Noah stated with no spirit, what a mood killer! Cody chuckled and rolled his eyes before humming slightly. Noah glared at him before mumbling nonsense,
"Quit humming, its distracting. Music is just a waste of time," He blandly stated, looking at Cody with his blank, brown eyes. Cody gasped offendedly, in a sarcastic way. He placed his hand on his chest and leaned back slightly,
"How could you say that about music. Music, Noah! Music is a gift, its awesome," Cody exclaimed happily, nudging Noah playfully. Noah shook his head quickly,
"Nonsense. Music is just random meaningless words that singers smushed together. Basically just chatting with some tune or melody in the background," He grumbled, glaring at Cody. Cody rolled his eyes and chuckled,
"Yea, maybe it will be hard to find something we have in common," He scoffed out, his lip tugging upwards to one side.

The two boys have spent the last hour talking about their differences rather than their similarities. They were teasing and laughing with each other. Noah chuckled, looking at Cody after he made a conclusion,
"Y'know, Cody, your not as bad as I thought you were," Noah cooed, gently dabbing Cody's chest. Cody looked at Noah, a warm smile creeping onto his face. Cody couldn't say the same, he always thought Noah was interesting. To everyone else, Noah was just a shadow, unseen or unnoticed but to Cody, Noah burned bright, like a fire, a bonfire,
"Aww, you thought I was uncool at first," Cody sarcastically and playfully, pouting, causing Noah to flick him in the forehead. Cody giggled, swatting away Noah's hand before glancing at Noah. Cody had a soft look, the sunset landing perfectly onto his face, making his eyes eyes shimmer and sparkle, a warm and safe smile planted on his face. Noah's eyes fluttered a bit. His mouth went agape as he had been feeling this certain feeling this entire time they hung out or Cody just glancing at him. Butterflies danced in Noah's stomach, his cheeks slightly painting pink. He noticed something as his eyes sparkled and a smile slightly spread across his face; he was inlove. Noah blinked a few times as he quickly looking away from Cody's eyes, biting the side of his cheek and clearing his throat,
"Uhh well uhh.. We should get to work, y'know like figuring out our similarities," He said nervously. Cody nodded, giving Noah that same soft look,
"Yea! Yea right, we should instead of discussing the complete opposite," he chuckled. Noah shivered slightly, his cheeks tinting pink agaim as he huffed. Christ will this be one long week.
