After a week of fighting Decepticons, Optimus Prime looks forward to see his Sparkmate, Y/N, who was injured in battle a few days ago. He walks into the base and sees her, smiling at him. Optimus' tired expression quickly changes to a smile.
"Hey, Orion," Y/N greets, gently hugging him. "Hello, sweetspark," Optimus replies, kissing the top of Y/N's helm. He picks her up and walks her to their berthroom. He lays down on the berth, with Y/N still in his arms. Y/N rests her head on his chassis, gently closing her optics as Optimus rests his helm on Y/N's. The bots intertwine their legs with each other and embrace each other.
"How's your injury, Y/N?" he asks her. "Better. Ratchet said I can go back on the battlefield in just a few more days," Y/N responds. "You know, you ought to be careful, sweetspark. You could offline," Optimus says. "Orion Pax, I've been fighting with you for a long while. I know how to avoid death, unlike YOU," Y/N says, slightly pulling away from the cuddle. "You've got me there, Y/N, but you can never be too careful," Optimus says.
Y/N giggles and goes back to resting her helm on Optimus' chassis. They stay in silence for a bit.
"Hey, Orion?" Y/N asks. "Yes, Y/N?" "Do you wanna have a sparkling? Not now, but maybe soon?" "Maybe, Y/N, but that'll mean you won't be able to fight," Optimus says. "I know, but I can tell you all of my strategies through coms, remember I did that when I had to take care of Smokescreen after Ratchet left to help you?" Y/N reminds. "Of course I remember. I guess we can. It depends," he says. "So is that a yes?" Y/N asks, smiling hopefully. "Sure." "Yay!"
Should I give them a sparkling? Yes or No?
