The interior of Minjeong's house was spacious and had a back wall made solely of windows. The view from there was perfect with an open clearing and a small stream feeding a pond. The dark green grass was lush and fed the animals living nearby. Minji didn't have time for that at the moment, as she was pretty preoccupied with two people standing before her with their arms crossed.
"H-hi?" Minji stuttered. A loud creak of a door slowly closing came from behind Minji and she looked behind to see Haerin attempting to shut the door without being noticed.
A crack of a smile began to break through the older girls' facade.
Minji slowly turned back to the unnies, a judgemental eyebrow raised in question, "You said you would fix that."
Minjeong sighed, "I did say. But I didn't. Maybe because a certain person lent it to someone who lent it to someone else who also lent it to someone else and eventually it was lost. Like, how does that even happen?"
"We can just buy another can," Jimin said with an apologetic smile.
Minji met Minjeong's gaze and saw on her face what was I supposed to do? The younger could only shrug, knowing well enough that bickering like this happened several times daily.
"Well Minji, have you come to join us in our briefing and packing?"
Minji bowed with a hand over her heart, "Yes m'lord, I have brought offerings with me. Shall I deliver them by hand or crash my car through your wall so that you can retrieve them personally?"
Jimin snorted. She walked over to Minji, pausing a bit before flicking her on her forehead. She then proceeded to go to Haerin and gave her a gentle pat contrary to Minji's flick.
"Unnie!" Minji could only exclaim, "Preferential treatment isn't cool."
An arm wrapped around her shoulders, startling her briefly before she realized it was just Minjeong.
"You and me both, Minji."
~ A few minutes later ~
The group settled down in the basement where a quaint room with a screen and comfy furnishings awaited them.
"Well, team leader, will you be the one to do the briefing this time, or will it be like the usual?"
Jimin asked Minji, who, reclining on a sofa with her feet on a coffee table, replied, "Take it away, unnie."
Being the responsible oldest that she is, Jimin had already looked at everything ahead of time, providing much of the insights on the blueprints and schematics for the client's house and noting both entry and exit points. On the other hand, being the irresponsible leader that she is, Minji's mind begins to occupy her with other things. She would argue that for the first little bit, she actually paid attention.
"There are five main entry points to gain entrance to the house. Those being the front door, garage, backdoor, and two side doors,' Jimin pointed at each in turn, "Towards the back of the house is a large forest. Going through the back door and the side door to the left here grants direct access into it."
"Yep," nodded Minjeong, "That forest is also the one we are in right now."
Minji gasped in feigned surprise, "Does this mean you guys are neighbours?"
"Essentially. Minjeong wouldn't shut up about it last night." Jimin scolded. Seeing Minjeong giggling, she faked a punch causing the younger to curl up in her chair with her hands covering her face while howling with laughter, "I don't even know why I try anymore."
