Looking behind me I didn't see who was talking to me until I looked down and realized that it was Flowey

"U-um hello?"

'I guess I should've expected to meet him  sooner or later. Which most likely means he's desperate if he bothered to come out and meet me'

Flowey: "You knew Frisk back when you were on the surface didn't you. You mentioned him earlier, so you had some connection to him in one way or another"

"Uh yes, I have no idea of how i got here nor do i know why. Right now I'm trying to figure out whats going on with Frisk, right now is my greatest chance of finding him and see why he's doing all this"

'That's right despite the fact that I do know the fact that this is all the work of either player, Frisk or heck even chara. There's still the chance that this is all the result of player, I can't be too sure if this is all voluntarily or not .Either way I'm still in trouble with this little information'

Flowey:" Hmm I see, well human welcome to the underground"

"Hehe thanks, although this isn't the great heart warming welcome i was expecting nor did i want to see this kind of tragedy"

Flowey:" Well you should take that scarf with you"

"But isn't this scarf-"

Flowey: "It'll protect you in a way that you don't know about. listen I don't know the relationship between you and frisk but this isn't the same frisk you know anymore. he will attack you with the intent to kill. that scarf has a form of defense but you'll need something to defend yourself until the problem is dealt with"

"Hey wait!-...and just like that he left as soon as he did appeared "

'He said that papyrus's scarf would protect me, does his scarf work like how the ribbon from the ruins works for frisk'

I was hesitant but I put on the scarf and tried to open the inventory menu, I was lucky that I was able to open it. My defense shocked me, papyrus's scarf gave me fifty-seven points

'I guess I should've expected to see something like this in Undertale of all places. Papyrus could have easily dealt with Frisk but he decided to give Mercy, I honestly wish he could have defended himself better -heck with the scarf is most likely would have if he didn't let his guard down. I really hope sans can forgive me for this, I mean wearing his now dead brothers scarf is basically me practically begging for a bad time'

I thought as I sighed and started running again. I'm honestly impressed with how well my body is handling all this. In my past life I couldn't even run half a mile without getting a cramp and damn do those things  hurt

"I wonder how far frisk had gone"

going through waterfall I realized something that made a shiver go down my spine

'I still haven't met Undyne!'

It was a bit irritating having to go through the puzzles but as I reached the end of waterfall and the entrance to hotland my blood ran cold as I found something that made me furious

It was one of Undynes spears, still glowing with magic while it was pierced into the ground. slowly I walked forward and I reached out, at first I hesitated to grab it as it could hurt me but then I remembered Flowey said I should get something to defend myself and that papyrus's scarf would protect me. not having any second guesses I grabbed the spear and braced myself for pain only for me to have to face the other way as her spear started glowing a bright blinding light. after a few seconds i opened my eyes and looked at the spear in my hand, the spear was now glowing a bright red
